I was pretty sure Cotto did call out Floyd on one occasion and was searching quotes, anyway i came across this, from clearly a Floyd fan, which is ironic:

So, cotto's last 3 fights have been

Zab Judah- Coming off 2 losses and a dq
    Shane Mosley- Shot
    Alfonso Gomez- lol.

    Mayweather's

    Baldomir- for the linear championship.
De La Hoya- For the light middleweight championship
Hatton- Unbeaten and a pound for pound fighter.

Miguel cotto certainly isnt fighting the best.

All this stuff about mayweather not fighting true welters is gay, de la hoya weighed around 160 for their fight and baldomir the same, those guys were actually Bigger than welterweight.

Plus the De la hoya mayweather faced at 154 on may 5th 2007 was a better fighter than anyone cotto has ever fought.

The only reason the DLH-mayweather fight was an SD was down to idiot judges who cant tell when a punch is blocked and score rounds for coming forwards and not landing punches, most respectable people had it for mayweather by a few rounds.

    Anyways, Urkal = ****,
Judah came off 2 losses and a dq,
mosley= shot, and still nearly won that fight with cotto,
    Alfonso gomez= who gives a ****.

Cotto is not fighting the best.

People forget how long Cotto was at 140. Mayweather was fighting for the 147 linear title when cotto was at 140. Cotto at 140 was a prospect and the same people bitching now would have ****ted all over mayweather if he fought him then.

Cotto-May would have done about the same numbers as May-JMM and mayweather would have had to give cotto a larger split, which means less money.

Mayweather has already defeated better fighters. Yesterday the majority of the board voted that Cotto would have lost to the DLH floyd fought at 154. I also strongly believe that Mosley of two weeks ago would defeat Cotto of today.

Again, very good but not great.
Your an idiot! Shane Mosley is marginal? Then why is it such a great win for FMJ 2 and a half years later?

Mayweather would have clowned Cotto. Keep fishing for moral victories, and the ******* vote, though.

I guess Cotto should go fight Ricky Hatton and JMM so he can get some elite WW under his belt.

Cotto would have stopped DLH that fought FMJ, he would have crushed DLH to the body. And do us all a favor and crawl back under your rock, Mosley looked old, slow, and out of boxing shape against FMJ. (Gased by the second round) Not to mention off for over a year! The Mosley that fought two weeks ago hadnt fought in a year and a half but you honestly think he could beat cotto? LMMFAO!

You seem to be in the minority believing that Cotto would stop DLH. That is laughable. There was a poll done here the other day, the board unanimously voted that Cotto would have lost to DLH

And yes Mosley would beat Cotto who himself is past his best. Mosley was not slow at all, his handspeed clearly matched mayweather it is mayweathers superior reflexes that made the difference. That is just plain bias to say that mosley was slow to discredit mayweather.

Floyd wanted to fight him when they were both 140 but Arum didnt Allow it. By the time Cotto was 147 Mayweather was done with Top Rank and it was virtually impossible at that point.

No part of my post discredited mayweather, read it again!

Mosley lost to Cotto so to think the Mosley that lost two weeks ago looked better is rediculous! He did look slow and out of boxing shape, there was no snap on his punches after the second round. Even his corner knew something was wrong, listen to them again between rounds.

And polls on here mean something are you serious? Most people on here are bious and never think outside the box!!!!!

The real funny part is that you think Mosley matched FMJs hand speed! You need to upgrade to an HD TV my friend!
