    No way man.
It's easy for idiots such as jrosales to see Oscar getting beatup by a one-dimensional puncher such as Pacquiao, but they forget he was drained of all his strength and anyone could have beat him up. (Roach said this after the fight) Valero was beating the crap out of him in sparring.

People forget how strong Oscar was in his prime and at 154.

How does Cotto (before Margarito ruined him with plaster) matchup against that version of Oscar? (not the lifeless drained version Pac fought who was only 147lbs)

        Cotto - 5'7" , 67" reach, 158lbs (his prime ring weight)

        Oscar - 5'10 1/2", 73" reach, 167lbs (LMW ring weight)

        Who wins?

Honestly a toss up....but in a battle of left hooks the guy with a better one usually wins....so you would have to say Oscar has an adge going in.

Yeah but in all fairness, Cotto is even more overrated than Oscar.

Oscar at least won titles from 130-160. Cotto had to fight journeyman and vacant titles. His first test was against Mosley. Then when he had to prove his mettle, he becomes automatically ruined. That is way more overrated than Oscar was.

WTF is going on. Do you guys not know what 10 years is? Read what I said 10 years the last 10 years we are in 2010 and he fought Whitaker in 1997. Was that in that last 10 years time?

Do you guys not know math?

And, Whitaker beat him. And, Whitaker passed his prime and Oscar was in his absolute peak.

Why do you think he never gave Whitaker a rematch. But, gave and old ass Chavez a rematch who he dominated the first time.

But, in the last 10 years he did **** bro. His best wins were Tito leftovers. He KO'd two guys who got their chin ruined by Tito.

Oscar great weapon the left hook only came out twice in the last 10 years. Once against Vargas and the other against Mayorga.

When people talk about the Oscar version of the last 10 years act like if he was the same Oscar from the 90's.

The only more overrated fighter in the last 10years than Oscar is Zab Judah.
Damn you're dumb. He arguably beat Mosley in the rematch. He lost to Hopkins, but was still a very good fighter until he lost all that weight to fight Forbes. That is the fight which Oscar lost it all in, which is why Roach setup the fight with Pacquiao next.

......you won't find many saying he is top 20 or even top 50 ATG.....but i think everyone can agree he got some gift decisions against numerous fighters. A faded sweet pea comes to mind, Sturm, Quartey perhaps.

But he also go some that went against him.....Trinidad and the second fight vs Shane.

but overall you are prob right.
