One PPV event is not going to change anything even if Floyd vs. SSM sells around 1.7 because Floyd has a history of selling more than Manny and making more money than Manny in fights.
Money, glove size, location, ring size, name of the fight, etc. was never the issue. The only issue they have is the testing.Comment

with all that ****, he'll end up with like 60. how much do you think reebok and gatorade paid him for the 24/7?
the live gate, ppv's, all that **** changes based on how well the fight sold. when i'm talking about GUARANTEED money, i'm talking about what he was paid to step in the ring, and that was 23.
regardless, its a nice chunk of change.Comment

Then he wasn't guaranteed 40 million, he could potentially get at least 40 million. He was guaranteed 22 million up front for fighting him and then his split for the other things on top of that, which means he was guaranteed 22 million with potential to earn a lot more.
There was a bit of a problem at the begginning and they sorted it out, and Floyd did say once that if his PPV does significantly better then he might ask for the lions share, that could have been talk but its there. One PPV event is not going to change anything even if Floyd vs. SSM sells around 1.7 because Floyd has a history of selling more than Manny and making more money than Manny in fights.

At the end of the day, if they agreed on 50/50 before and the buys do around the same, they would keep is at 50/50, if one does significantly better, then one person could turn around and say things have changed and demand more, whether its Floyd or Manny. Be objective.Comment

Very nice, I remember when Floyd was retired and they talked to him about fighting Shane and he said he wanted a guarantee of 20 million and people laughed at him, now if its true hes getting 23 then thats excellent pay.with all that ****, he'll end up with like 60. how much do you think reebok and gatorade paid him for the 24/7?

my initial thought 'what a hypocrite...another ppv thread'
jk
yea, i agree...i think that if PBF-Shane would have hit 2mil buys, then PAC-PBF doesnt happen (still dont think it'll happen but it prevented another roadblock from forming)Comment
