Martinez wins easy at 160 and 168, though pavlik would be in better condition at 168, his body is not meant for 160.

A week after the fight Pavlik weigh 192, If this guy cant make 160 healthy then he needs to move up and fight at 168.

Pavlik might rather fight Martinez at a catch weight. And he might want to see if Martinez will go for it. But I think when push comes to shove he will take the fight at 160. There just are not that many big money fights for him at 168 right now. FIghting Bute would be suicide I think he is better then Martinez and bigger and harder hitting. At least Martinez has already beat him and without the cuts it would have likely been closer.

If I was Martinez, I'd just move on. BTW Arum was correct when he said Pavlik needs a new team, a nutritionist, and train in a different location. He's going to need atleast 2/3 of things to happen if moves to 168lbs....that's another level of competition waiting for him.

The problem is, there is no one he can beat at 168, except maybe Froch, and he no longer has a title.

175 is a little thin these days, maybe he could give that a try.

He needs a new trainer; Loew and his corner are inept and he needs professionals.

Agreed. I been saying this all along.....
If Pav can't make 160, then fakk him... fight Mayweather.

Exactly, if Pavlik can't make 160..... then why should they rematch ?

Martinez was the smaller man who moved up for a title shot.

Rematch at 160 or fakk off.

Why should Sergo be even slightly interested in fighting above middleweight, especially when he just beat the guy.

Yep, but what would be the point ?

Martinez best weight is 154, and he currently holds titles at 160.....
why would he be even slightly interested in fighting above the middleweight limit, for no title, against a guy he just beat at 160 ?
