Do you think the Cotto that fought Pacquiao was better than Mosley that fought Floyd?

Why the double standards though?

Again making excuses to try to diminish a fighter and make the other one look greater. It really is disgusting how some of you guys get down.

First of all anybody who watch the fight knows it was close between Clottey-Cotto. It could of gone either way.

That is like me bringing up that a washed up Mayorga went life and death with Mosley. I can easily say that Shane didn't look elite at all in 2 of his last 3 fights as well.

btw. mayweather-pacquiao, it all comes down to a RESPECT thing with you guys.

there is really NO ARGUMENT as to who looked better in their previous fights, cotto going into pacquiao, or mosley going into mayweather? most ppl would agree, mosley looked better before fighting mayweather. no argument there.

so that leads me to pacuqiao vs. floyd.

manny is viewed as dominant, great, non-stop, all action, etc.....so when he dominates an opponent, in your minds, it just underlines his greatness....

floyd is viewed as a ducker, runner, coward, etc.....so when he dominates an opponent, he still doesn't get the credit. you guys look at his opponents and make excuses as to WHY mayweather SHOULD HAVE WON. with manny, it's the opposite. you guys look at HIM after a victory, and praise his greatness.

not fair, and you dudes need to be more objective. that's why i appreciated merchant's and steward's comments following the fight, b/c they looked at mayweather, and gave credit to his skills. too many dudes on NSB, do the opposite. you guys acknowledge his skills, then downplay them at the next moment. **** has to stop.

look, there are already threads being made as to floyd being "bigger" than manny. so manny is so great, but the excuses are being put into place, so if mayweather DOES beat him, we'll look and say manny is smaller....

at some point, you have to look around, and say, "who can floyd fight and beat at this point, to receive credit?"

IMO, he'll have to move up and fight guys like abraham, dirrell, ward, dawson....

before the fight, there were threads posted as to who would win today? mosley or cotto? the threads overwhelmingly favored mosley.

I can easily point out that Shane was a year older than the last time he look great and was coming off the longest layoff his career. I mean that is a fact right?

I can easily say that Shane had back-to-back training camps that he peaked to early he left his fighting in the gym. I mean their were reports before the fight that Shane was struggling against Richardson son. That he was getting beat.

I can ask the question on why Shane got so damn tired so damn quick when there was OST? He didn't get tired that quick against Vernon or Winky. I mean he was already breathing hard at the end of the 4th round. Floyd wasn't that amazing that early to have Shane that tired. And, lets not forget it was Shane who refused blood testing against Judah. But, accepted it when he got the largest purse of his career.

The way you guys are doing with Cotto. Then all this points that I am making should be valid too. And, should be taking into account if you going to take the Cotto **** into account.
