TS. Do you think what Luis Resto did to Billy Collins was ok had he not been caught?

You don't care about their health - fine. But surely you care for the integrity of the competition? I mean, that's what sport is all about; competing at physical tasks and discovering who's the best. The possibility that one athlete has an advantage over the next, not because of his God given talent or hours spent trainging, but due to illegal, artificial perfomance boosters kind of compromises the whole point of it. P.E.D.'s are illegal for many reasons.

Surely you could provide me an example of where I said this then, right? My boxing knowledge far exceeds your own and thats not a secret to anyone who frequents NSB.

So by your logic fighters might as well come into the ring with a chainsaw. Naw dude, just because I appriciate the technical aspect of boxing, which is also accompanied by violence, doesn't mean I'm into Faces of Death.

Not the same unless you can show me a fight then ended similarly because one fighter was using PEDs.

there has to be a decision:

              1. Allow PED's across the board.....and may the best boxer (and chemist) win.

              2. Strictly no PED's (and actually attempt to enforce it.

At the moment we are in a middle ground where the powers that be want to tell us we are at number 2......but really we are somewhere btw 1 and 2.

So when you said this you were only talking about PEDs?

I just want people to understand that this issue is more complicated than just take the test. The only way to ensure a 100% level playing field is to legalize all PEDS that would ultimately make it impossible to cheat. Even with the strictest forms of testing we arent ensured complete honesty. People have been making steroids untraceable for as long as they've been testing for them. What about the men who take the blood? Are they beyond su****ion? Would they not take a bribe form a multi-million dollar athlete? Do we have 24/7 video surveillance of all blood samples taken until they reach the lab? At some point proving your innocence beyond all doubt is impossible.

Yeah, I don't think of P.E.D.'s (at least the kind that I suspect are widely in use) as dangerous per se, but I just don't think it's fair and adds a whole other side to things that we shouldn't have to consider. I wanna see athletes prospering organically.

Can't believe I just used "per se" in a sentence.

It still holds true I just feel there should be much stricter consequences for attempting to bludgeon your opponent half to death. I obviously feel different about wanting to improve your speed and ability as opposed to using a weapon to cause your opponent harm.
