Wow, for a second there I thought it was 2005 and Oleg Maskaev was being called out by the heavyweight champion of the world. But that is silly.....It must still be 2000 when Oleg was still a serious contender right? Could Vitali be seaking a soft touch?

Well first of all, Maskaev is ranked #5 by the WBC and has been for almost a year. I think at the worst, Vitali should fight Toney! Not Maskaev! Oleg needs to fight a top 10 guy before any title shot. I think win or lose, Oleg is an exciting fighter. Vitali needs to fight Toney next but Toney is trying to out price himself so he doesn't have to fight Vitali... That is 100% obvious. If Rahman ko's Barret in the first couple of rounds then he will be ready by September. I don't think Rock will even win against Monty, and if he does, he will be pretty beat up cause Barret is a tough fighter! Vitali, you need to fight one of the other title holders for your next fight or Toney, or the winner of The Rock/Barret fight! No one else!
