As long as Vitali fights someone with a pulse I won't trash him. Maskaev is not one of those guys with a pulse.

Either way Klitschko is a bum, I hope Brewster knocks him out or Toney outboxes him, cuz when that happpens, we'll have a real champ and not some bum who never fights....

Gomez nor Krasniqi would be a big threat for Vitali, Krasniqi would be a bigger threat than Gomez but still none the less either are credible.

It is a viable fight, if your not fighting one of Don King's title holders or James Toney, that simply is not deniable.

....McKay, this scares the hell out of me, but I find myself agreeing with you more and more when it comes to boxing.

Isn't this the perfect opportunity for Vitali v Ruiz? **** Don King! If everybody on this board ignored all the other possibilities and focused, and SCREAMED, for Vitali/Ruiz, MAYBE we could get a hwy fight that MEANT something. Don't underestimate your power! I'm betting DKP and Top Rank and everybody else in this crazy business, tracks this board, and your reactions to their bull****, on a regular basis.

Oleg maskaev is a good fight for Vitali, what i dont understand is why Vitali wouldn't wanna fight Rahman, i dont think he is ducking, a fight with Maskaev would be a good one and if Rahman comes along he will fight him too.

Perhaps this is just a tune up to keep himself active and test how his surgery went in the ring.

the fact is that theres no outstanding challengers out there yet, theres no one knocking the door down, just merely giving the door a light tap, sam peter needs to beat a top contender, brock has beaten mcline but dosn't stand out just yet, thats the one of the reasons VK was busting his balls to get a rematch with lewis.
