DLH, and tyson are NOT bigger draws than mayweather
there is a simple reason why, and its the same reason why music sales across the world have decreased:
INTERNET PIRACY
in the early 90's, tyson was able to do 1.55 million buys against a bum like peter mcneely for the simple fact that there was NO OTHER WAY TO WATCH IT other than ordering the ppv. the same goes for DLH in the late 90s and early 00's ...internet piracy wasnt what it is today
i wouldnt be surprised if over a million people streamed the mosley/mayweather fight. out of those million+ people, i would say that 800,000k of them would have given in to temptation and bought the ppv if this was 1996. add that to the 1.3-1.7 number and that would mean you have a potential record shattering 2.5 million or more.
floyd is the biggest draw of all time. lets not even bring the economy into this either... for floyd to do these kind of numbers against DLH, hatton, JMM, and mosley in this day and age and in this economy, it means hes the biggest draw of all time.
