I don't understand it either. Manny has 3 losses and he's one of the fastest fighters I have seen. Mosley has very fast hands, and lost 6 times. Jones has incredible handspeed even at this age and lost 7 times. Ali had super fast hands for a HW and lost 5 times. Whitaker had fast hands and lost 4 times. Handspeed alone doesn't win fights. But it does help to have fast hands.

I was just gonna say, MAB was another quick fighter, and what is even more impressive was he completely destroyed him. Sasakul was quick as well. Cotto is another quick guy. Khan and Benavidez are lightning quick(PAC spars 'em)

Zab was probably the fastest fighter that Mayweather has faced, simple as that. Manny hasn't faced anyone with handspeed as fast as Zab.

it doesnt matter though is judah is that fast if he cant used that speed effectively, pac will still whup him much worse than floyd did at 147.

but if this thread is all about handspeed w/o its effectiveness then it's a ******ed one. there were are a lot of fast fighters pac fought at the lower weights. were they effective? i guess not.

Not the kind of hand speed Floyd possesses. Floyd has only fought that kind of hand speed one time. That was against Zab Judah, and we all saw Zab beating Floyd to the punch early. Floyd had a ****y smirk on his face, but the simple truth of the matter is Floyd had NO idea where those punches were coming from, and he was getting his ASS KICKED by Zab early.

You're underrating him. He has excellent timing, excellent accuracy and he's faster than a lot of people give him credit for. He's just not a speed demon like Pacquiao.

After Mayweather; Marquez has the best counterpunching I have seen in active boxers. But mentioning Marquez as having great handspeed is not even debatable. If Barrera and Marquez are the one's being mentioned as Pacquiao's opponents that had fast hands, then just you have no argument.
