I want to hate Floyd, but I can't. He should be #1.

word up, Floyd went full Bruce Leeroy after that...I loved the bravado Money showed after that second round scare, after seeing him come out of his stool in the third to stand toe to toe in the middle of the ring and becamome the aggressor and completely impose Mosley without even hurting him...that moment right there made me respect this man and become a newfound fan of his. This was exactly what I've been wanting to see Floyd do, stare down adversity and say "you know what mother ****er, I'm here, what's up now?" that's exactly that Floyd did and that made my night.

After seeing him man up like that, I was like "aight, so this is the REAL Floyd". Like Naz said, "You find out who you really are when you're in that ring one on one." I definitely saw who Floyd is.Comment

Mosley felt his power, and we all know Floyd's power is underrated..When he land one of those crispy sharp punches, it will definitely make his opponent(s) hesitate to not throw wild punches..But it was funny how Mosley was trying to wait for Floyd to made other mistakes like he did in the second round..loli agree with you, i have no problem with people putting manny number one simply because he hasn't retired and continued to fight top competition.
but i like everyone thought floyd would get on the back foot and out box shane but never i mean never did i think he would pressure him it was impressive.Comment

I don't think Mayweather would of been KO'd.
If he had been knocked down, he would recover and use his high guard like he did and block 95% of the shots, but he never even went down.
If ya head is clear and you keep focused on the shots coming like Floyd then getting out of the situation will only be a matter of time.Comment

Oh, there are still plenty of reasons to hate the guy...
1. The robbery over Castillo
2. Retiring to avoid Cotto
3. Retiring to avoid Cotto again
4. Coming in overweight against (and even fighting) the lightweight Marquez
5. Running from De La Hoya and turning what could have been a mainstream Rennaisance of boxing interest into just another snoozefest where the runner gets the benefit of the doubt.
6. Fighing a 38 year old off 1.5 years(!) of inactivity.
But yeah, if you are a frontrunner who just roots for the fighters you think will win, Floyd is your guy. There is no question that he is a tremendous boxer.
There's too much ****** here to respond to all of it but I'll just go with point 1 and point 5:

I don't wanna hate Floyd at all but objectively I just can't put him number 1 after the run Pac has had in the last 2 years after going through Barrera/Marquez/Morales before that.
It just ****s all over what anyone else has done. And that's including Floyd.
I like Floyd but that doesn't mean I can put him up on a pedastal where he doesn't belong like all these other guys are doing.Comment

I realized that most of the boxingscene bull**** is race-based so its really just a waste of time.
