The whole issue over the drug testing might just be the convenient excuse...

I think that if Manny didn't want the fight, he would've found a better excuse than drug tests. I like Pac. I dislike Floyd. But in my eyes I can't see how Pacquiao doesn't come out of the negotiations looking bad. The debate has been done to death and I'm not trying to stir it up again, but all I'll say is that the refusal and silly excuses look su****ious to a lot of people. I think he's harmed his image in the past 6 months.

I think Floyd came back with Manny in mind, which is likely why he chose JMM as an opponent. IMO Floyd believes (and is probably correct in thinking) that he'd outbox and counter Pac all night long, making him look like an amateur along the way. His willingness to face Shane proved to me that he's not afraid to take a risk.

Yep, but Top Rank really don't have a sense of shame enough to not try and pull that ****. And everyone else involved with Pac will go with that (cash) flow.

      Hope I'm sorely mistaken.

I think it's Top Rank and other assorteds around Pac who don't want this fight happening more than the fighter himself.

If a way was found to make Manny happy with everything, I see Arum finding a way to sabotage.

That aside, a big +1 to all the bold. That's all just the way it is.
