I am a serious-hater of Floyd's "Money" persona, the one who sells his fights.
But cong**** to him for tonights fight. Thought he was done in the 2nd, but took over then on. If he acted post-interview all the time, he would not get so much **** from alot of people.

Shane's conditioning looked horrible. Makes you think back to 24/7 with that chubby conditioning coach. haha. I felt bad for Team Mosley though..

i agree, it wasnt that active of a first half of the fight for him to be gassed and gasping mouth open in the 7th round.

i thought naazim would pace him like he has bernard for so many years.

i thought shane was gonna get floyd out in the seond round.

You better believe I saw the fight. And all I saw was clear domination. Everybody bought into to Mosley's trash talking. Mosley was selling wolf tickets and yall bought them all up. Talkin bout he was as fast as floyd WRONG, said he was bigger than floyd WRONG, stronger than floyd WRONG. And then all the **** Naz was talkin eh check it. Naz said Shane would come out and hit Floyd in the Mouth TRUE. Then he said Floyd would turn into a dragon and spit fireballs TURE. Then he said Shane would get out of the way and step on his tail and punch him in the stomach WRONG. Everyone gave shane and Naz too much credit. I don't care who is in your corner they can not get in the ring with you. When your in the ring gettin tagged you ain't tryin to hear what your trainer is talkin bout. You basically wanna say "why don't you go try it". Basically it was just like the Zab Judah fight without the brawl. I Feel bad for Shane but hey he wished for this fight. And this is why they say be careful what you wish for!!

Floyd's the man plain and simple. He backed Mosley up and dominated after the 3rd. The hype for Floyd to fight Pac has diminished.

You could even see him start to throw then not because he was so late on the punch, Floyd was in and out by the time he could get off.

This fight had nothing to do with skill, this was just a battle of youth vs age, and youth won.

You take a vet of many ring wars like Shane, give him an 18 month layoff, then put him in the ring with a guy as quick as Floyd, and thats what you get. An old man with already diminished reflexes, and no timing to boot.

He couldn't pull the trigger, and you really would have had to be delusional to not realize that going into the fight.

The only thing that surprised me in this fight is that Shane actually managed to get those right hands in round two.

Sorry but without his "Money" persona he wouldn't be the cash cow. that's just the way it is. As far as feeling bad for Team Mosley I almost did but then I went to youtube and watched shane get in the ring and talk all that **** and it went right away. I said from the beginning when he ruined floyd's interview he wrote a check his ass couldn't cash.

Nothing masterful about that fight. If anything it was embarassing. I called for Mosleys retirement after his fight with Mayorga, and again after his fight with Margarito.

The man has been slurring his words lately, and it was very obvious even before the fight was signed that his reflexes would not be there for him.

Not to take anything away from Floyd, he is an extremely talented fighter, but his choice of opponents never fails to disappoint.

Shane looked the same way Oscar did against Pacman, and that is because his reflexes are gone and he couldn't pull the trigger.

go back and read every post i ever wrote. always said floyd was faster, more skilled, more fundamental, but shane had better power and would implement a gameplan that would win with activity, not accuracy.

i also said floyd would not win because he pot shotted.

floyd, didnt, he fought in cominations and mixed it up.

that is why he won, he fought the way he needed to.

if shane didnt hurt him in the second floyd may have gone for the knockout, but he did the right thing and remained active and won rounds convincingly
