he didnt even throw punches after that second round.

he landed that hardass right following a stiff body jab, but never jabbed the body ever again after that.

all he did was flicker and stagger in.

he was gassed and gasping in round 7, he is 38, god bless him.

    he had a great career.
That is how all old fighters end their careers. As Muhammad Ali once said. "You can see the punches, but you can no longer get out of the way."

It was fairly obvious after seeing the way that Cotto was consistently tagging him with his jab that Shane Mosley was at the end of his career. I am glad that he got a payday like this, and I hope he takes it as a wakeup call and retires.

Thought you knew it all. And this non boxer knew more than you!!! And as far as meeting on the street who sounds like the 10 year old little boy now? tryin to be an ethug because your boy lost. act your age!!
did you watch the fight or are you really that unathletic?

he didnt win with anyones tools but his own.

he imposed razor sharp right hands and disrupted mosley with a stiff jab.

he stepped in to crowd mosleys punches to keep him from getting them off

now go watch the fight and apply what i said and you will learn a bit.

like your hero said, you gotta be smart when it comes to fighting.

my feelings hurt? haha...this is america, we have the best boxers and athletes in the world.

you didnt know more than anyone, you merely jumped on a bandwagon

        thats all, thats it

im 31 and still have nothing more enjoyable than knocking punks out.

Give credit when credit is due.

Mayweather beat the best welterweight, #3 on the p4p list, and a future HOF. He beat the same guy a lot of people said Floyd would never fight and would lost to if they did fight. Floyd humiliated the two guys Manny Pacquiao ducked. He put on a boxing clinic against the former #2 p4p fighter (Marquez) and outclasses and out-boxed the current #3 p4p fighter.

What more do you guys want from the man? He also went toe to toe against the strongest puncher at welterweight.

a brilliant recovery and performance by floyd.

shane is done, he was gasping with his mouth open in the 7th round and was gassed.

god bless him, he had a wonderful career.

manny wont take that test because floyd will knock him out in 6.

              floyd is just too accurate.

thats b/c floyd was beating him to the body.

              try again *******.

Mayweather proves mettle and aces test

For a brief moment, it looked like Shane might just get Mayweather out of his element, and into a fight. But Floyd displayed extreme talent, smarts and demonstrated that his boxing and tactical skills are second to none in the world. Floyd turned in a brillant boxing performance, that trainers marvel upon. Kudo's to Floyd Mayweather.....he's a champion!

If you think Pac has a harder one punch power then SSM you are insane. Pac is like a fully automatic 9 mm, he doesn't stop you with the first 5 he gets you with the last five. It is his speed and quantity not quality. Pac can't fight like he does against other fighters, PBF has great reactions he is masterful and if he thinks that he can do the things he did against DLH or Hatton or Cotto. Those are beaten fighters, this is a very competent boxer still in his prime. I think that it could be a great fight and I don't like PBF but he proved me wrong he sat in the pocket and beat him down.
