There are no excuses. I voiced my disapproval of this fight at the time of its signing. I have repeatedly called for Mosley to retire. I have been concerned about his health for his last few fights.

how have u been worried about his health when he looked good in his last 3 fights??? what concerned u?

Mosley actually landed more than 20% of his punches. Now imagine pac doing that, it would be higher, I dunno by alot, but it would be higher since pac throws 5-6 punch combinations.

Mosley's age showed in that fight. He had a great round 2 but he just ran out of gas...

IMO, a pac-floyd match can go either way....pac will have a difficult time hitting floyd but unlike mosley, pac won't run out of stamina(he never does)..........

Only reason he ran out of gas is because he couldn't connect much after round 2. He didn't gas against Mayorga or Margarito, know why? Cause he was actually connecting when he threw. Takes more energy when you're missing then when you're connecting at will against two stationary targets. Just sayin

After round 2, he fought the perfect fight.

Unfortunately, Mosley was also fighting Mayweather's perfect fight!

Anyone who doesn't give Floyd credit is a hater, plain and simple. Floyd was actually pressing the fight, making Shane back up, and pushing the action. Shane got too carried away after the second round, and just began headhunting. But Floyd adjusted, and his defense was impeccable.

Anyone who doesn't give Floyd credit is ****** period. The excuses are flowing that Mosley was tired in the middle rounds. Haters did you see Cotto fight with Mosley where Mosley was breathless in the 4 round and he still was able to dominate Cotto in the last rounds and Cotto was running for his life. Did Floyd run when he was stunned by Mosley?? Noooo!!!! he stay there and interchange punches, like he has done all his life. Like he does to Corley, Stunned and get back to put him on the canvas. Like he does to Judah, he came back to his Stunner to destroy it right after the punch. Like he does to Mosley. At the end of the round he was turning the tables to Mosley and he rolled past him in the next round and for the complete fight. Haters are not saying that Molsey was hurt with Floyd punches and he does it easily with only one punch. Haters why Cotto get down when he is nailed and Floyd does not. Why nobody can put him on the canvas? Did you see the monster shot that Mosley give to him and he stay there fighting back?? Did somebody say HEART. When you are hurt and you stay there you have heart and have chin and have legs and have a strong mental presence. Why the haters did not mention that. Haters you looks silly and ******. Floyd beats Mosley because he was better, stronger, faster, more accurate and in the end his punches were too strong for Mosley. Floyd will ko Paquiao easily.

shane has better technique than pacaquiao and i don't think pacquiao is as fast on his feet as floyd and manny's foot work could never compare to mayweathers

Scored the fight 11 rounds to 1, in my opinion Floyd got careless thats why he got caught in the 2nd round. Obsevations: Only tactics that worked for Mosley in the 1st few rounds were jabs to the body or chest. As for Floyd, he showed variety is punches and the way he sets them up. Yes people might not like Floyd's character but they have to respect his ring intelligence and skills. As for Pacquaio, same thing will happen to him bcuz just like Shane, he CANT fight going backwards thus Floyd will also use the aggressor tactics in that fight with slight variations for the southpaw, but thats only if Pac mans-up and take the test.

Have you heard him talk? The man is slurring his words. The only reason you do that is because of brain damage. Brain damage doesn't go away. Ive never seen a fighter who was slurring their words put up a noteworthy effort against top notch opposition. Have you?

His reflexes were obviously gone. Look at the way he couldn't get out of the way of Cotto's Jab. Look at the trouble he had with Mayorga.

Margarito doesn't count, because Margarito was so slow that Shanes reflexes were good enough.

the mayweather / mosley fight was much boring than the pacquiao / clottey fight...and mosley was no better than clottey against pacquiao...mosley aready looked tired in the early rounds, by the end of the 6th round, he was asking for a cold towel in his corner....the mosley of tonite wouldnt have lasted against pacquiao...its a shame that mosley looked old and over the hill...time for mosley to call it quits.
