It was fairly obvious after seeing the way that Cotto was consistently tagging him with his jab that Shane Mosley was at the end of his career. I am glad that he got a payday like this, and I hope he takes it as a wakeup call and retires.
        good point.

you could see on his face he knew what he wanted to do but couldnt pull the trigger.

it seemed like he was over thinking every single step...

i hope he retires, he has been a warrior and a great ambassador to the sport

He was so wound up .. Hes usually shaking his hands in fights but in a relaxed way.
getting that head snapped back with teh jab, and getting out muscled with a smaller man will do that to you, give floyd his goddamn props!!!

You was talking **** yesterday, pay respects hotep/shalom.

I am a serious-hater of Floyd's "Money" persona, the one who sells his fights.
But cong**** to him for tonights fight. Thought he was done in the 2nd, but took over then on. If he acted post-interview all the time, he would not get so much **** from alot of people.

Shane's conditioning looked horrible. Makes you think back to 24/7 with that chubby conditioning coach. haha. I felt bad for Team Mosley though..

Floyd turned in a brillant boxing performance, that trainers marvel upon. Kudo's to Floyd Mayweather.....he's a champion!
Shanes game plan was perfect, and he had Floyd playing into it. He had Floyd coming to him, and was going to use his speed and power to win a counterpunching battle. Only problem. He didn't have to reflexes to counterpunch.

Yeah man they both had ridiculous offense and Shane was beast with 32-0(30 KOs) and PBF had a great KO to win ratio at that moment as well. Would have been fun watching to guys with ridiculous power, speed, and reactions going at each other.

I think what also did Shane in was the fact throughout the entire build up to the fight Shane kept saying he was just as fast as Mayweather. Easy to say that until you get in the ring and experience first hand. I think it mentally took something out of Mosley too when he saw that his best punch only stunned Floyd instead of knocking him out. From then on Floyd knew he could take Shanes punch and didn't mind standing there and fighting. Naazim was getting pissed in the corner, even threatened to throw in the towel.
