This is what I hate about boxing: meaningless PPV fights. What fan was beating the door down for Diaz-Marquez? I don't even think the die hard Mexican fan is salivating at this matchup again. Been there, done that. HBO, hello??!!

How much common sense does it take to figure out that out of the four fighters on the card (joan guzman, juan marquez, joel casamayor, juan diaz) the fight to be made is joan guzman vs. juan marquez at 135 (or catchweight)?

Diaz and Casamayor could have battled it out on the undercard of Guzman-Marquez.

I'm not sure Guzman-Marquez is appealing enough for me to shell out 40 bucks, but at least I'd think about it.

Marquez-Diaz 2 is a waste of time, bandwidth and ring space.

BTW, why does every fighter on that card's name begin with the letter J? Meaningless stat for a meaningless card...

      LOL!

JMM KO'd the guys that beat Katsidis. Katsidis doesn't deserve a fight with Marquez if he can't even beat the guys JMM KO'd.

On the otherhand, JMM fighting Diaz is a "been there done that" situation. JMM has nothing to gain by fighting Diaz, he should have fought one of the up & coming fighters at lighweight in my opinion.

Golden Boy needs to get fights for their fighters and when know networks wants to buy the fights they have to go the ppv rout. It sucks for us fan but it's the reality we live in.

I'm viewing this as a tuneup fight for JMM.

Not ppv worthy at all but at least it will let him work out the rust.

Guzman/Casa is a joke fight. Casa is done and Guzman is a cheater.

Guzman doesn't even deserve to share the ring with the greatness of Casamayor.

This is gonna be a boring ass fight with two guys who counter punch. The only reason why Guzman was exciting against Funeka is because he had to be. But I'll laugh my ass off if Guzman beats Casamayor just for the simple fact that it will pretty much hurt JMM's legacy along with the fact that he is waisting our time with this rematch with Juan Diaz. JMM hasn't proven **** at 135 and he better fight the Soto-Petersen winner or Kevin Mitchell if he gets past Katsidis or he doesn't deserve to keep the Ring title.
