he was an unstoppable force in those two fights. IMO.
Yep so was Danny Williams and Kevin McBride. In fact they stopped Tyson faster than Lewis did and Tyson was in better shape for the McBride and Williams fight than for the Lewis fight. But eh whatever sunshine, masterclass baby.
Excuse for what? He won. He beat Vitali's face into a bloody pulp and the fight was stopped.
You talk about Lewis not having fought a guy that big who fought at that pace before.
That's not really the issue. The issue would be that Vitali never fought someone that big (and accurate) a puncher. He elected to take shots to give shots, and it lost him the fight when he face didn't hold up to the punishment he was taking.
excuse him not whiping the floor with his opponents like he useally did.
VK fought someone that big cant remember the name though.
your right about VK newer fought any that big and that skilled fighter before.
you are also right that VK hadnt fought a that kind of a puncher before.
but no matter how hard LL punched he took them like a man and was newer badly wobbled like LL were.

Take your nuthugging glasses off.
Vitali was stunned several times in the 6th round. And if your biggest critisism is that Lewis 'failed to wipe the floor with him" then your really reaching.
ill ignore wittmans inanae ramblings as usual and respond to you leff.
Lewis prime its hard to tell cos he suffered two big setbacks.
the fighter that beat Razor ruddock was a different fighter to the one that beat tyson.
If you look at his record his most impressive streak comes after the Mcall defeat through to the rahman defeat so you would call that his prime I guess but for me the two masterclasses were his revenge of the rahmann loss, and the bullying of Iron mike.

exactly its hard to tell what LL prime was, many say when he fought tyson and he was not much older nor much heavier against VK

Maybe you should apologize for overrating Lewis.
Back to this are we?
That was a year later, and AFTER Lewis gave Tyson a slow and sustained beating.
Why don't you talk a bit more about how you don't believe Tyson injured his knee vs Williams...
We've been though all of this earler in the thread.
There is no "Winning" before you lose.
He LOST. Period. Lewis landed at 50% of his powershots, and the cut was caused by a punch, and worsend by more punches.
your right there is no winning before losing, but its an indication on what might have happened if(i know you dont like the if word) the fight had continued ore if there had been a rematch like it should have been

I have to ask. Why is it you only combat what are referred to as the Klistchko "nuthuggers" but not the Lewis "nuthuggers" like JPW. Or the Tyson "nuthuggers" or the "Gatti" nuthuggers. I mean there is every variety of nuthugger on this website but you choose only to give a hard time to Klistchko "nuthuggers" in particular. If there is a Klistchko fanatic police than there should also very urgently be a Roy Jones fanatic police and a Zab Judah nuthugger police in particular.
