i don't know why some people think lewis was at his best when he fought klitschko, because he was not in the sort of condition he was in for the tua fight and the second hasim rahman fight BUT HE STILL BEAT KLITSCHKO ANYWAY.

in case u've been asleep since the 50s, the titles today are worth less than ****. winning titles, being champ, defending titles, retaining w/e, it doesnt mean **** anymore. in fact, lewis dropped two of his titles to avoid fighting ruiz and byrd and retired to avoid fighting VK. i understand dropping the titles, but dropping the titles to avoid a fighter? at least TWICE? gee, i dont remember muhammad ali, joe louis, rocky marciano, or jack dempsey doing that...

he retained them in a fight where he got the ass-whoopin of a lifetime? if the champion gets his ass kicked and yet he still has the titles, what kind of impression does that leave on the world of boxing? a very VERY bad one...

he didn't fight byrd or ruiz because they would have been boring uninteresting fights, with very little public interest. they were also ''no win'' fights because if he had of won people would have thought he should have anyway, and if he somehow lost it would of been embarrassing, they're the sort of fights which may have made lewis look bad, but he still would have won them IMO.

most of his fights were boring uninteresting fights. hell, almost all of em were. if he HAD won, he would have kept his titles and not have to worry about facing those two bums again.
