Yeah, I had it 114-113 for Moreno. However, it was a very close fight IMO, and I could see it 7-5 for either guy. Cermeno would've gotten a draw on my card, but he got deducted a point for low blows. To be fair, they were legit low blows. He landed a bout 3-4 uppercuts right on Moreno's cup. Cermeno is such a dirty ****er.

I didn't see anything controversial about it. The crowd did cheer for Cermeno when he landed and it appeared that Cermeno stunned Moreno. However, it may have been an issue with Moreno's shoes, as the next round he came out with both his shoes taped up, like Adamek had against Arreola.

For what it's worth, my copy had Japanese commentary over Spanish. The Japanese team had the same score as mine, and while I don't speak Spanish, I know for a fact that they said something about a difficult fight for the judges. Take whatever you want from that.

thats right, everything happened so fast,he was wobbly, like you said,he couldn't block the shots much less think about taking a knee,he was holding on to the ropes for support otherwise he would have been down

I'd like to see this one go to a rematch. Montiel shocked the hell outta me with that KO. I really thought this was Hasegawa's time and it'd be a minute before he suffered another loss. Props to Montiel, and I won't say it was a fluke. But if it's possible to work out with the sanctioning bodies again, they should fight a 2nd time.

I think a lot of us fell in love with Hasegawa's style as of late, that's why we were picking him. But at least I didn't predict a blowout win and even made a point to say that it would be a close fight.

Props to Fernando Montiel. There is a reason Mexican fighters have a reputation for being world class....it is because they are!

I think Hasegawa is moving up to 122 and the rematch goes out.

He's been having a hard time making weight for a while now.
