Grass root support and fighting style.

As popular as he is, a celebrity whotranscends boxing, FMJ has no grass root support. His safety first style doesn't make for a must see performance. Outside of ODH and Hatton who both have grass root support, I can't remember a FMJ headlined fight which sold out, including the smaller venues which seats 10k or 8k. He is however, a great PPV attraction because of his portrayed arrogance and that "0".

Fighters like Cotto, Pac, Bute, Hatton and Margarito has the formula to sell-out.

Funny enough we over here in the U.K get the advert for the fight all the time on SKYSPORTS...Including the Mayweather/Mosley confrontation after the JMM fight.

I've seen fights at that place before, namely Vazquez/Marquez 3. 2 guys that only hardcore fans know about that fought at 122 and they packed the place.

Its the truth. Sorry you don't like it.

Marquez and Pac sold 400K+ fighting each other as super feathers.

        With no 24/7's.

        Marquez is a solid draw.
this fight does waaaaaay more than mayweather-marquez did. if you seriously think this fight only pulls in 800K, then i don't know what to say. i guess we'll see.

Rafael previewed it on ESPNEWS, but they were pretty negative about it. Talking about Mosley's age and Floyd's fighting style.

Thats just my gut feeling on it.

But I could give a ****. I just want to see a good action fight with some goddamn spirit.

Preferably one that involves Mosley removing Floyd from the sport with the brutality.

If you are some idiot Pac fan who just wants to hate, then stay the **** out. I want actual discussion on this.
I work in a Liquor store and I can gauge how hype the fight is. This fight doesn't have the buzz of DLH-PBF. normally they will be Printed Promo in th e Tecate Cans, not this time. Most of the people who bought that fight was dissapointed. Normally the Hispanics are all hyped with the DLH & JMm fight. But this fight, they dont seems to care. Floyds fans are hyped but I keep telling them I'm boycotting the PPV. Pac fans are interested but most agreed with me to boycott the fight because we expect a boring hit and run by Floyd anyway.

Most older white people doesnt seems to care. Most are tired of Floyd antics. The younger white who supports MMA seems to support Floyd. They actually believed Floyds accusations about Pac. People who hate floyd doesnt believe Mosley can do it. So they seems not interested with this fight. Plus the 24/7 is boring... I only enjoyed the 1st episode, the next 2 was a bore.

I say 1.2M PPV for this fight.
