I think some of the people predicting 2m+ PPV sales are gonna be in for a bit of a surprise. It'll do well, but not record breaking well.
I can only speak for ESPN, and except for the boxing section of espns website, there is no coverage. Especially on TV. Just a commercial here and there.

Because Floyd is not a gate draw. He trives more on the PPV's and that started after he fought Oscar. Miguel Cotto,Pacquiao,Margarito, ect, ect, ect put more people on the seats because there fights are all action packed.

I mean why would you waste a weekend of your life and possible $1K to watch Floyd bore you to death. Not always but sometimes, he bores the **** out of people.

Plus this fights is not as big or the casual fan. And thats because it isnt. Plus everybodu views Pac as a god and supports him. So anything but a Pacquiao fight from floyd is Bull**** to them!!

            Pac fan here..

I honestly feel that it would be sold out by friday.. GBP is doing a great job of promoting the fight.. I hear it on the radio, I see Mayweather /Mosley face on the news paper.. and I even see a bill board with who you going to pick poster on it..

I also believe Floyd is doing his job so everyone will tune in to see if he will finally lose his 0 also..

I've been surprised by the lack of hype from ESPN. Hopefully it picks up tomorrow.

Part of the reason is that Shane also has never been a big draw himself.

This fight is not a ppv fight imo.

Its a World Championship Boxing card.

Shane fought Mayorga at the Home Depot Center which is in HIS hometown of L.A in the Tennis stadium there that only holds 8000k.

The fight only sold about 3000k tickets.
