I think jrosales13, abosworth, el malo and a few others have gotten the point of the thread because they have taken the time to read the post.

Why cant Floyd fans point out holes in Shanes game that Floyd can exploit? It doesnt means Shanes a bum.

What do you want Floyd fans to do falsely hail Shane as a SRR clone?
I don't want them to hype up Shane as something he isn't but I mean if you are unbiased you could point out 5 points that Floyd can exploit make sure to do the same for Shane because that way you recognize the fight as an even fight like jrosales13 said if you state that in a fight between fighter A and fighter B, fighter B has no chance of beating fighter A, that's cherry picking and you shouldn't give credit for the win, another thing that I share views on with jrosales13 is that I for one give both fighters an even chance of a victory so no matter who is the winner, he will get all the credit for me.

Either gets credit. No one can say otherwise.

Shanes advatage is size, strength and power if he and Nasim can find a way to use them he can make it close. If not he loses...badly.

That's all I'm saying if your going to recognize one's attributes do it for the other fighter, that way you can give full credit to the fighter without any doubt, because he faced a dangerous opponent.

well, fan are fans...fanatics are fanatics. some fanatics always think their guy is invincible. manny pac fans think the same thing about their fighter, and so ro shane mosely fans. i mean come on, everytime floyd fights someone, ppl accuse him of ducking and they say hes overrated and hasnt fought anyone. if their fighter beat him tho, im almost certain everyone wold hype that fighter up. fanatics talk about ****** **** and use ****** arguments to justify it. im not so blind as to think one fighter is bigger than the whole sport and is invincible. no one's invincible, but floyd just may be the closest thing to it in boxing. we'll see when he fights mosely annnnnd pac.

so basially what im sayin is what do u expect from fanatics???but please dont generalize. fans and fanatics are quite different.

I say this because according to his fans Shane Mosley should be easy prey for Floyd, if Mayorga could "outbox" Mosley, there is no reason why Mayweather should have any trouble with Mosley or lose a round against Mosley, all of this according to his fans. They make Mosley sound like a cherry picked opponent, so when/if Floyd wins I don't want to hear anyone say Floyd is the best or **** like that because according to his fans Mosley isn't on Floyd's level so why should he be given credit or celebrate that victory, obviously I know I will see threads adoring Mayweather but it is wishful thinking on my part. Now if Mayweather loses he would have lost to a guy that got supposedly outboxed by Ricardo Mayorga so that would make Mayweather a bum. The point of all this is seriously if you want people to recognize Mayweather for what he is, try not to downplay his opponent, it's getting ridiculous and these are the same people that will later preach about Mayweather's greatness but right now if we let ourselves be lead on with what Mayweather's fans it won't mean much because that was supposed to do. Instead of downplaying Mosley why not try to call the fight as it is which is mostly dead even, so then that way both fighters could be given credit. I for one will give credit to whoever wins but I find ridiculous that those who now downplay Mosley will be preaching Mayweather as the GOAT after the fight.
Well that's why his fans are his fans. Some of them have intelligent reasons for believing Mayweather will walk through Shane. Others give Shane a far more serious chance. Can't paint fans of a fighter with the same brush.

On that note, it's crazy to use Shane's fight against Mayorga as a reason for believing Floyd will dominate. That was a junior middle fight and Mosley is better suited for 147. Save for one fight against a washed up Vargas, he has looked terrible there, dating back to the Raul Marquez fight. At 147, he's an entirely different animal. A young, fresher Cotto (barely) bested him but no other welter has been able to do a damn thing to him since Vernon Forrest. He was crafty, almost brilliant against Collazo. Shane has slowed down some but he is quite formidable. And that is the general consensus among boxing fans.
