Floyd shouldn't get credit for beating Mosley...

According to his fans, and if he wins by close decision it would be worse according to his fans. I say this because according to his fans Shane Mosley should be easy prey for Floyd, if Mayorga could "outbox" Mosley, there is no reason why Mayweather should have any trouble with Mosley or lose a round against Mosley, all of this according to his fans. They make Mosley sound like a cherry picked opponent, so when/if Floyd wins I don't want to hear anyone say Floyd is the best or **** like that because according to his fans Mosley isn't on Floyd's level so why should he be given credit or celebrate that victory, obviously I know I will see threads adoring Mayweather but it is wishful thinking on my part. Now if Mayweather loses he would have lost to a guy that got supposedly outboxed by Ricardo Mayorga so that would make Mayweather a bum. The point of all this is seriously if you want people to recognize Mayweather for what he is, try not to downplay his opponent, it's getting ridiculous and these are the same people that will later preach about Mayweather's greatness but right now if we let ourselves be lead on with what Mayweather's fans it won't mean much because that was supposed to do. Instead of downplaying Mosley why not try to call the fight as it is which is mostly dead even, so then that way both fighters could be given credit. I for one will give credit to whoever wins but I find ridiculous that those who now downplay Mosley will be preaching Mayweather as the GOAT after the fight.

Nothing changes the fact that Shane is one of the top 3 BEST fighters on the planet.

Its about being more consistent when it comes to Mayweather and his fight sheet. If u beat Mosley, go out there and fight Pacquiao, fight Miguel Cotto.I never liked DLH but he took on all challengers. It seems like Mayweather is more concerned about retiring undefeated.

People who talk ****** **** on the fight have only themselves to blame when they catch flak for it. Many PBF detractors said PBF was afraid, and now they have to eat their crow. I didn't believe he'd take the fight myself, but I'm pleasantly surprised he did. No problem admitting I was wrong. Flip the script, and you've got the bitchy Floyd huggers who spat that "shot old man, can't beat boxers, not a draw, ducked PBF twice, doesn't deserve the fight, Margarito win was overrated, etc" bull****. It's on now, and the winner runs the show at 147.

At the end of the day Mosley is ranked as one of these best WW. Mosley is in the top 10 p4p. Floyd deserves credit. Simple.

Should Floyd have fought Clottey instead?
