But let's not act like this is a prime Shane either.
Not like this is Mayweather's best weight class. But it's fun watching the excuses roll in.

This thread, its needless whining about things that have not happened and may not happen at all.

But I guess there was shortage of that sort of thing on here and we were due, so props.

Looking at the front page, it's perfect timing IMO.

if mayweather loses , i will consider floyd the most overated fighter in the past 20 years, if floyd wins this will be his first true victory in the last 5 years probably but floyd losing 1 fight is gonna be ****in costly for a guy who has fans who say hes the best ever and floyds comments about hes better than everyone will blow up in your face and floyds face as well

A win over a near 40 year old man that hasn't fought in well over a year is not a great win.

Long layoffs always have an effect on a fighter.but layoff's don't effect a well schooled boxer as much as they would a guy who relies on his physical atributes aka shane mosley.

A more credible opponent then Berto, Clottey, Collazo; all the other younger WWs out there. So in short, cut the excuses.

                  May the best man win.
39 years old, 1 year 6 months off his last fight.

Shane was made to look good vs a physically shot margarito who was suffering from the ill effects of the cotto fight & he was also destroyed mentally from being caught with handwraps.

Just answer this question? did margarito look good vs shane? No he didnt. he looked horrible. Shane is not as good as he looked in his last fight.

                    Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no.

As a loyal Margarito fan, I call bull**** here. Mosley had the perfect gameplan for Margarito, that is why he won. No ill effect, mentally hurt, no bull****. Margarito was punished to the body, which drained his stamina. Then he was clinched before he could ever retaliate, which kept him from causing damage.

Margarito lost to Mosley because Mosley was the better man that night. Don't make **** up. Mosley may be past prime but he isn't shot. He is still a live opponent.

took 1 year off, ktfo Mayorga.... took another year off, demolished Margarito. Perfect evidence of his layoffs meaning absolutely nothing.

the excuses are starting to roll in already...

but if your favorite fighter (probably pac) was fighting mosley this saturday instead of mayweather, and managed to whip his ass, you wouldnt be able to shutup about what a great win it is over the #1 WW in the world...right?
