You mean Tyson should have gone out in the next round, let McBride hit him in the side and then pretend he couldn't get back up?

yeah I guess it isn't their job to physically suffer for our entertainment.....

Ali, wow what a moron, I'm sure nobody will remember his accomplishments

what was Gatti thinking vs. Rodriguez? Man that guy should do his kids a favor and just quit & go home

Marvin Hagler would have really helped out his rep by quitting vs. Hearns after the 1st right hand that Tommy landed in round 1, what a self-centered jerk Hagler was...why wasn't he thinking about his poor wifey at home? How selfish can you be?

      (note the sarcasm)
(you can't have your cake & eat it too, you either feel this way, or you hate quitters, it's one or the other)

        hmm

WARRIORS: Gatti, Mayweather, Corrales, JL Castillo, Judah, DeLaHoya, Barrera, Morales, Pacquaio, Winky, Margarito, Johnson, Tarver, Hopkins
Mayweather ran like a ***** vs Castillo. Hopkins ran even more like a girl for the first half of the fight vs Eastman.

Easy to criticize someone, but you aren't in the ring. Become a boxer, then talk. Tyson doesn't belong in a ring at this age obviously. Abdullaev couldn't see, and thought better of it as he was taking a pounding. Guy in the ring knows more of the situation and what to do than you, and that's the end-all.

Oscar wasn't the 1st fighter that B-Hop has KO'd, Bernard had every physical advantage possible....

and ask Quartey and Vargas about how much of a quitter Oscar is, they may feel differently than you

I don't think we'll ever find out how much heart Mayweather has...

With his talent, you don't need heart...

you say run like a *****, I say perfect boxing vs a guy whose physically stronger, Floyd did what he had to do to win....same with B-Hop vs. Eastman, that was perfect boxing and counter-punching....plus QUITTING is the subject, not perfect boxing....

"become a fighter, then talk" wake up call homey, this is a trash-talk site, not a forum for pro boxers, you don't have to get a boxing license to sign up for Rick Reeno's typing forum

it's a sad day when people go above & beyond to justify being a quitter in life

Hey, to me Tyson's warrior just for being alive right now. Like he said at the press conference "theres nothing that hasn't happened to me." Ain't that true, Mikes been through more **** in 39 years then most go through in a life time.

Floyd ran in the first fight and LOST, period, regardless of what the judges said. Hopkins was not boxing the first 5 rounds vs Eastman, he was running, like a *****. And yes, this is relevant because you said they are warriors.

Trash-talk all you want, I will use logic. Become a boxer then talk. I'm not going above and beyond to justify anything. Pretty simple logic really.

                    Anywho...

Tyson blazed his own trail in life, sure he's been thru a lot, but whose fault is that? He could have retired in '86 and opened a McDonald's, but he made his own decisions, hell yeah he's been through a lot, that makes him human, not special...I didn't grow up with a silver-spoon in my mouth either, but blaming "the system" or "the environment" didn't build this home or pay for my car insurance last month, I can't afford excuses, obviously Mike can, so he'll do exactly that, and it's his life and his reputation, quitting won't make me cry or put me in debt so he's free to do what he wants.....

So to answer you, yes, Mike's been to hell & back, but he was behind the wheel for the entire trip so he can't blame the freeway, he must blame the pilot
