Doesn't make me a fan, I support the guy.

I hope he does well in the Super Six tournament. But everyone knows how limited he is.

My favourite fighter is Hagler. At the moment I like Haye, Gavin and Cloud. As well as the other fights in my avatar/sig.

Pro Basketball and Football come with guaranteed $$$$$$$$ before playing your first f--ing game. Boxing in the U.S. just can't compete with that.

Here's what Pro Boxing could do though.. go after the kids who don't make it to the big leagues. Would make a decent farm system.. as you have built in athleticism to start and there's a reward of $$$ for the kid at the end of the tunnel for a successful run. This goes for White and Black Americans. The Heavyweights of tomorrow are in those sports.

I live in NYC and I can name a lot more boxing gyms that have closed down over the past 20 years than those that are open. There are hardly any boxing gyms in NYC at this time.

You can chat all this **** about boxing being small in America, but we all know it's not. I bet you there are more gyms in New York then there is in the whole of England.

I think it's bull****, I don't know how in the hell there are 822 boxing gyms in England when there is only 1 in the whole of my town.

                  Must be a typo.

Is it that the Europeans have got better or the Americans have got worse ?
Uh no, there is no way you can know that. There wasn't exactly much international boxing for most of the 20th century. Just because the USA televised their own athletes doesn't mean that was all there was to see or that they were the best. Now that boxing has become more international, you can see how Americans have been deluded into thinking that we are so great when Americans really aren't.

                    Btw, I am an American.

Football and basketball happend. The top kids over here don't want to be boxers, they want to go pro in other sports.
They are guided from a yound age into these sports.

Way more options, way more money and far better odds to get the money over here. Even if yhou don't go pro, atleast you get a full ride thu collg.
