NO, Let me explain to you how a civil suit works. This is tort. Not a criminal case.

Although the burden of proof is lower in a civil case, the discovery process can be more grueling. That is why you often hear about accident cases dragging for years while the parties go back n forth with medical records, depositions, witness interviews, etc.

notice that Shane brought suit against Conte, and they had him in a taped and sworn deposition ALL DAY.

GBP lawyers will question a litigant (say, Pac). Pac's lawyer then crosses, and the GBP lawyer can re-cross. It can be a very rigorous process.

Pac does not - NOT - get to 'plead the fifth' or sit on the sidelines.

I'm not blaming Pac because Pac is nearly illiterate. He has a grade-school education. At best.

But he should have received better counsel from Arum/Koncz. But those guys were more concerned about trying to make Team May look bad. And in Arum's case, he was trying to use this lawsuit as a vehicle to sever the promotional agreement.

Oh the irony, your grammar is that of a first grader.

Seriously, who the **** hates a boxer so much, they attack a fighter's education level?!? The fact you keep repeating this bull**** only goes to show your bias and own ignorance. Please, feel free to continue showing everyone on this site exactly how ****** you are.

He got in with money not brains. And he studies business management not law.

But either way, the man isn't illiterate or ******. His team/camp whoever is his manager, is doing dumb **** for him. If he is his own manager(which I doubt) then he is just doing dumb ****.

What does "imply negatively" mean? Do you mean "impugn"?
When Shelly Finkel managed Pac's career. Finkel, Burstein, Khan, and Davidson were managing Pac career after dis*****g the rights and winning the case against Murad...

But then before the Larios fight in Manila, Pac decided to change his management team from Finkel, et al and replace them with his fellow country man (Gacal, Salud), who by the way were the co-promoter with Pacquiao for the Larios-Pac fight in Manila...

It became official when Pac signed with Top Rank and totally erased Finkel out of the picture. Finkel and Bob Arum are not exactly in the best of terms. Finkel is more associated with Golden Boy. So you can see Pac and Finkel with Burstein didnt have an amicable seperation, and I think Burstein until now still holds a grudge.

i know is not a criminal case and it's going to a long process but it doesn't mean pac has to spend long hours in the witness stand.

discover what? that he's using peds? good luck on that. on the other hand, if you're talking about discovering how the defendants tried to slander pac it's all in the open...no need to discover and that's something the accused needs to answer a lot of questions and not pac.

the problem about most cases dragging for years is the lack of evidence. not in this case as all allegations against pac were done publicly. the only problem for pac's team if those evidences gathered have enough legal basis to stand in court. but that's the lawyer's responsibility and for him to answer.

shane's case is totally different because he admitted to using peds that's why he needs to answer a lot of questions. with pac, there's not traces of evidence against him unless floyd & co can produce one. of course burstein will try to question pac no doubt but on what grounds?
