      He didn't get stripped. He voluntarily vacated it after Jennings turned him down.

        Yeah...he's gonna go back and fight someone whom he KTFO in one round after they beat him in a fight he took on two fricken weeks notice.



        It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for a fighter to go from training for an orthodox, stationary power puncher to a slick southpaw two weeks before the fighting date and expect to be at anything more than 60%. Doesn't anyone find it ironic that both times Williams tried this, he had a rough time? Does anyone stop to think maybe he wasn't at his best in Quintana I or the Martinez fight?

        The fact that he was able to keep up with Martinez on two weeks notice and make it a VERY close fight in that situation amazes me, personally.

          Ok cool, then why did he let it go? What sense did that make? If he wasn't force to fight Jennings. Why let it go?
