If floyd beats shane, is it a better win than manny's win against barrera?

Pac just happened to pummel his way through his toughest challenge, and nobody expects Mayweather to do that.
Can May outpoint Mosley, keep him off balance and MAKE him look every single day as old as he is?

Absolutely. And if he does, then yes - this win would be just as impressive as Pac over MAB.
except mab wasn't 87 yrs old when they fought.

as somebody said, floyd winning over shane isn't even as impressive as manny winning against cotto.

That was your opinion, my opinion is that the cotto that fought pacquiao would have destroy mosley that fought margarito, shane didn't improve instead i see a more older and slower mosley.

Do you think Floyd Mayweather would take this fight if he didn't think Mosley would be a name fighter that would make him look good? If he thought he might lose he would find a way out.
And Barrera was a 4-1 favorite over Pacquiao, Mayweather is about a 4-1 favorite due to Mosleys age, recent losses and inactivity.

Mab was'nt ready for pac and felt it, the 3rd morales fight ended everything fo mab. Now i remember all this because i watched it live and remember all the analysis during. Still a good win for pac but no where near compairison to a floyd win vs mosley. But i don't even see floyd winning, i see a ko for mosley
lol, if floyd couldn't ko an old and past prime mosley then he needs to retire.
I'm expecting floyd to completely destroy mosley, he doesn't belong in the ring with floyd, he's just too old and past his prime to hung in the ring with the likes of floyd mayweather jr.

i think that the fact that this isnt a Prime Mosley and that Floyd is already established as the #1-2 best pound for pound fighter, it Makes Pac's win over Barerra more impressive, Just because Pac was a nobody who was figured to just be another opponent and didnt truly reach his prime until a few years later.

I think if this was a few years ago and lets say for example that Floyd Moved up to Welterweight and fought a closer to his prime Shane in his debut in the division THEN it would be MORE impressive than Pac. but how it stands now, just not quite.

Still if he can make Mosley look like a nobody it would be impressive just not out of this worldly because we all know of Floyd's ability at this point

such a shame that team pac ran away from a fight with shane...twice.

have you forgotten that floyd called shane out twice. even when shane was undefeated but SHANE DIDNT WANT TO FIGHT FLOYD?

Because pac knows that shane isn't a worthy opponent that's why pac doesn't to do it and destroy shane in front of millions.

Barrera wasn't too far off his prime when he first fought Manny.
shane arguably has gotten a second wind of sorts (see vs. Margarito).

If Floyd throroughly beats Shane up the way Manny did MAB, I'd say
it might come close to Pac's accomplishment, but not exceed it.

The big diff is that Pac got an underdog win, and bigtime.
Floyd simply can't hope to achieve that.

Manny's win was better. Manny just moved up in weight and smashed a boxer who is #3 in the P4P rankings.

If Floyd makes Brother Naazim climb up the ring crying to stop the fight and saves Mosley from further damage, then I'd say equal.
