i was thinking the same thing. Salvador Sanchez was a humble guy from what i read because thats one of my grandpas All Time Favs. and everything i read he was a very bright guy who wanted to become a doctor and help kids in mexico. but he just was in an unfortunate accident in a fast car. Plus he already showed he was great by having an ATG resume by the time he passed and he was SO young.
Valero on the other hand was out of control. Beat his wife and others and was above the law in his country. He was a Powerful fighter with one punch KO power who was underrated with his boxing skills but just didn't have the right head on his shoulders.
so they are nothing alike personality wise. they both didn't reach there full potential but Sanchez is an ATG and Valero will be forgotten in 10 years.
In NO way am I saying Sal was a bad person... In NO way.... I just said his name because he contributed to his short career as did the other two....
this to the rest of people who left similar ****......
I can tell you one thing, people won't remember me for beating my wife and eventually stabbing her to death then taking the easy way out and committing suicide like a coward. Stop trying to defend him like he deserves any sort of sympathy or benefit.
I'l never forget Valero because it was Love at first sight the first time i ever saw him fight and THAT will be how i remember him. As a balls to the wall puncher with what on paper looks like an Incredible record.
I wish these past couple days never happened but if this tragic display can help just one future kid from crossing that line into a world of drugs and alcohol then maybe his talent and potential wasnt a total waste.
I hope his Wife can finally Rest in Peace and I hope his 2 children can someday recover from all of this

christ, you have indignation like you are his wife's mother. fortunately, no one gives a **** what you say a boxing forum. i just wanted to ket you know that you are a loser..
Agree..he wasn't that well known in the states...so no one will be asking who he was, but for the ones who were alive to witness him will just remember him as a fighter with incredible power that could've become an exciting boxer had he not go down the path he went.
