And how is that any different than what Floyd has been doing recently? If anything, he's been more flatfooted and relies more on slipping, counter punching, ducking, etc. instead of bicycling. I will admit though, the Baldomir fight was pretty unnecessary and boring. Baldy had nowhere near enough power to upset Floyd at all, and Judah hurt him so its not like his chin can never be cracked. But the Floyd from the Baldomir fight and the Floyd from now are two different fighters. He's an actual WW now.
What is so exciting about backing up with blood all over your face and barely throwing anything just because you're clearly ahead (Cotto and De La Hoya, well DLH didn't have blood) while the other fighter chases you around? I'll give you Martinez, but even with that, you changed the subject. How did we go from "running" to "exciting"? Bottom line is, Floyd doesn't run. If he runs, then so does Martinez and all of the other slick boxers who avoid punches.Originally posted by baracudamartinez , cotto ,hoya = excting runners............if that helps...Last edited by BoxerDood; 04-19-2010, 03:09 PM.Comment

baracuda don't know ****. don't mind the idiot of the village.
Flatfooted style is yesterday's news but it can still work if you can take one hell of a punch, multiple punches at that and still fight...... ala Margarito and Carl Froch.Comment
