Im looking for Tua to do it in 1 or 2.
Solis k'd him in one, Barett was shot when Haye fought him, now he's shot and possibly brain damaged

      I agree.

Monte Barrett was KOed in round one by a tomato can, Cliff Couser, in 2007.
His last win was over the bum Tye Fields two years ago. He was knocked down about five times by Haye and took a bad KO from Solis.

Monte is age 38 and completely shot now, no need to risk permanent brain damage by going in with a big puncher like Tua.

C'mon, seriously? Monte freakin Barrett? Barrett's not even a gatekeeper anymore. This fight is pointless really. Tua's gotta fight someone like Thompson, Dom Guinn, or any of the numerous European prospects on the scene.

Barrett doesn't even try to win anymore. He comes to collect his check and lay down. Tua is making himself look bad with these type of fights.

Monte Barrett is a waste of time at this point. Honestly I'd rather see Tua fight Shannon Briggs instead. I realize Tua is fighting for low money but he's almost out of this bs deal with New Zealand tv or his promoter or whoever the **** up is over in his camp. With that said because of him taking low money for fights his people should be getting him on major PPV undercards here in the states. This would at least generate more buzz and exposure that way he can hit the ground running after all the bull****. Personally I think his people should sit down with Top Rank and hash out a deal to fight Sam Peter on the undercard of one of their bigger fights on HBO like Cotto-Foreman or Gamboa-Caballero, or a Latin Fury ppv.

Having to avenge a couser loss hurts but really monte is pushing 40,he's 215-220 with average power,& suspect chin.he has been fighting guys who outweigh him by 50-100 pounds.haye is the WBA champ(monte dropped him),solis is 270 & has power,Ustinov(who he went 12 terribly sloppy rounds with)is like 6'8 300+ & now he's fighting tua.add fields 6'8 270 & valuev 7'0 320 who he fought the last few years....give the guy a break man he's not exactly ducking anyone.

Tua hasn't fought a fighter in his return who can do anything, cameron, ahunanya and now Barett, these are absoloute no hopers, none of them have any power, and the better two (Ahunanya and barett) are past it has beens who never were

Tua is rate numner 2 in the WBO. I assume that Wlad is fighting Povetkin soon, who is rated number one by both the IBF and WBO . Peter is number 8 in the WBO so a fight with Peter could probably be sanctioned as an eliminator. With Vitali also fighting in May perhaps Tua could get him in the ring since Wlad figures to be tied up with Povetkin then most likely Haye. Vitali-Tua would be a good fight at least worthy of tv.

Tua won't fight a top 10 fighter, im calling it now.

he will knock over stiffs until he gets a title shot, you can do that these days, you dont need to "earn" a shot anymore.
