that begs to question, if he knew all that alcohol and drugs made him such a violent person, why go around the person you love the most in the world?? i dont feel sorry for him. sure he had demons, but he had a chance to seek help and he couldnt bring himself to do it.
All the symptoms you just named could also point to him having IED.

      Good show Burner!!! Good show!

The problem with this site, and the internet in general is, the fact that most of the children on it (that includes the adults that act like children) live in a bubble. As long as nothing can harm that bubble, they could care less about reall world situations.

The think death is fuuny (true it is a part of life, but it is far from funny), and take any chance they can to poke fun at it. It is the way of the internet world.

Truth is, this is a crazy, yet tragic situation...It all happened so fast!

I will pray for his children.

WTF are you saying? Yes I'm judging him, judging him for his actions. He repeatedly beat his wife (and mother) and murdered his wife and killed himself. That is not a normal, sane person in my book. I have no doubts that there are some things we don't know that can help explain what happened but end of the day that crap don't mean ****. A family is torn apart over some needless bull****.

thats entirely possible. but ied is not mental insanity. its a disability but it stops short of keeping a person from knowing right from wrong. he knew he needed help. he admitted as much. he had a chance to remove himself from a situation in which he would hurt someone, but he didnt do it. i dont judge ppl, but i cant feel sorry for a guy who refuses to help himself and ends up hurting is wife especially if reports are correct andf he was drinking and the such as well. that only adds to any mental disability, which im sure he was aware of.

Dudes, a couple of things. Valero knew he would not get far on his own thus the reason he was nutthuggin Chavez. He is the Mayorga of Venezuela. Regarding the wife beating ****, **** him. I have a daughter and if anybody was to put their hands on her in a violent manner, I would not only take out the culprit, but I'd take out his mother too for giving birth to a POS like him. He had abused her recently to the point of her having a punctured lung? Jeez I feel bad for this young girl. He deserves the same criticism Chris Benoit and every other nut job that decides on killing the ***** then actually leaving her.

What pisses me off about this guy is that we all know that eventually he would've dumped her anyway, as soon as he had a big payday she would've been history. But nooooo, he jumped the gun and took her out, then offed himself. Last note, it just goes to show you that these tests prior or after a fight are tainted, because his alcohol blood level will would've been sky high but no one gave a damn.

Amazing, the Valero events of the past few days. And the response on this forum has been fairly amazing, as well -- a true study in human nature and mass psychology.

My two cents: I'm not going to cheer lustily the death of this man, Edwin Valero. That kind of reaction brings us dangerously close to savagery. But I'm not going to defend him in any way. He clearly had issues. It's unfortunate he didn't handle them before wreaking the havoc he did on his family and himself. However, many (one might say most) people have mental problems of some kind; but they don't all go around destroying everyone around them. The moment someone begins to cause physical damage to others, the line has been crossed. It cannot be tolerated.

The way I see it, people like Valero need to be dealt with in a definite way. It's not pleasant; it's just necessary. Think of any number of things you find unpleasant but are required to do, like taking out foul-smelling garbage. Not fun, but it must be done.

In the end, while the demise of Valero brings a measure of justice, there is no joy in it. The death of an individual whose termination we may consider to be just should not be viewed as more than an unpleasant necessity.

Mrs. Valero obviously cared about and felt great loyalty to Edwin, you could tell just by her manner at ringside. So there must have been some real love between the pair of them, and good qualities in Valero that made her feel for him.

A surely amazing woman, to have stoically endured what she must have gone through in standing by a man whom, for whatever reason, could not ultimately raise himself to her level of dignity and pride. Who knows what was going on in his mind.

The Valeros should both be here now enjoying a happy life together.

Tragedy all around. I hope their children are somehow provided for.

Okay its obvious the man was troubled but it still doesn't change that the guy was a piece of crap. Now i agree the jokes are lame because this is something serious and people are just taking advantage of a horrific situation. But i certainly don't feel sorry for Valero. We all have to face the consequences for our decisions and Valero took a cowardly way out. My only wish is that whoever takes custody of the kids, that they are good people and treat them well! They are the real victims in all this! And their mom as well who's life was cut short by a pathetic man. R.I.P to his wife and well to Valero i really don't know what to wish on him...

Valero was a boy and not a man. He beat his wife and took his own life. It's very sad, but he had children to look after. He needed a lot of counseling.

It breaks my heart to see a human take his own life and see children lose their parents. They're orphans now. It's just a sad situation.
