Thats what he does and he is pretty good at it. Pavlik doesn't have that one punch KO like Bute who has shown to take boxers out early with body shots, but Pavlik does have heavy hands and you do feel the accumulation of it when the later rounds come.

pavlik has world class ko power, his knock outs over previous opponents prove that. they aren't mike tyson one punch ko's or julian jacksons, but he has the power to do so. if pavlik had a tad bit more speed in his punches, then he would be knocking everyones block off, but since he doesn't, he beats them into submission and then knocks them out cold.

you know he has power, when a fighter of hopkins level says so....... a lot of guys don't admit of their opponent had power when they were fighting because it makes them look tougher, but when someone can really crack, the opponent say," that guy can hit hard as ****", you know the guy hits hard, just look at pavliks ko's, all of them were done couldn't continue........

Thats BS. Watch a few of his fights. Has very little to do with accumulation. It's one punch that ****s em up, and he finishes it.

It doesn't matter. He has heavy hands that he uses effectively because of his punch output.

Arthur Abraham has more one punch KO power, but even he has to wear down his opponents.

That said, I don't see him hitting Martinez enough to accumulate enough damage, Martinez UD.

When Kelly lands a right hand, that's usually it. The opponents usually gets KO'd, rocked, or starts fight too cautious. I'm not a fan but his power is legit in my book.

Pavlik has power in both hands. I don't think its over-rated at all. Look at his ko ratio. Numbers don't lie.

You guys dont see to understand the definition of one punch knockout. Pavlik has power no doubt, his power makes cats hesitate to trade with him. But he doesnt have one punch knockout power. In that Zertuche fight, he ate Pavlik right hands all night until he couldnt eat them anymore. Now if Pavlik had one punch knockout power it wouldnt even of went that long into the deep rounds. First right hand that connects they are sleep.

Example of One punch knockout power:
Julian Jackson - Most of his fights dont even go that far into the deep rounds cause all it took was one punch.
                    Randall Bailey
                    Thomas Hearns
                    Arthur Abraham
                    Antonio Pitalua
                    Edison Miranda

These guys when they hit you, you skip the stunned stage and go straight to sleep.

Pavlik hits like a freight train, and he's proved it. Every punch he throws does damage.
