pavlik has concussive power. when he hits people they fight differently than they usually do. it's almost like when he hits them, it changes them, and they become somehow different. i can not really explain it, but i have seen all his fights, and his power definately affect his opponents alot. as for him being a 1 punch guy not so much, but his power is 1st class. his speed or lack of it, and his predictibility is what imo keeps him from being a 1 punch guy. they know it's coming, see it, and know his simple style, but it does not matter. he lands, they change. simple as that. obviously except for bhop. he hurts dudes, and is a type of fighter that can ruin careers with they beat downs he can bring if he lands accumulation.

I think he can punch hard and is definitely heavy handed when he has something to hit. Hopkins and Martinez got off first and prevented Pavlik from setting his own tempo. If not, he can KO any fighter he sets up.

I've noticed that. Especially in the Miranda and Taylor fights.

Well he did build his KO record blasting out guys in club venues.

So there really isn't a reason to dispute your logic in my opinion.

It's not like he was knocking out Jose Luis Castillos.

Tough to be a power puncher when the other guy is beating you to the punch all night.
