The bold part is straight up fact. The second phrase should be left to the reader in my opinion. Otherwise we will start a flame war.

If you started boxing at 16 years old as a malnourished pre pubescent teen at 108 lbs, wouldn you think as you grow older you get stronger?

Why is this concept so difficult to understand?

Are you stronger physically as a 16 year old boy or as a 30 year old man?

As pac has grown up, he has improved his finances which means he can afford better food, equipment, training, trainers etc.

As pac has grown up as a boxer, his technique, confidence, intelligence, not help him become a better boxer?

I will be posting examples of boxers who have moved up in weight shortly....

What pacquiao is doing is NOTHING NEW AT ALL.

It has been done countless times in the history of boxing. You dont know about it because there was no nsb back then.

this is all very informative and extremely interesting to read.

BUT... can anyone name someone other than pacman who has done what he has done? it's not a loaded question intended to implicate him in anything. it's just amazing if he's the only guy who has done it. clearly though, as many of you have pointed out, there are a lot of mitigating factors surrounding pacman's increased ko ratio. i get that it's not solely an issue of power...

the concept is not difficult to understand. instead of coming into this thread with a defensive attitude, why not just post the examples of the fighters that you are talking about. for the last time, I AM NOT ACCUSING PACMAN OF ANYTHING... let's keep this nice and friendly please lol

a lot of dumbasses here. just look at pac's record and you'll see he's been KOing opponents left and right in the lower weights and into the first MAB fight. the lower weights non-ko wins are only against JMM, that sob is a tough hombre and the 2nd mab fight where mab played it safe.

Pac's power is overrated. He wasn't even close to stopping Oscar when he beat him up for 9 rounds straight...

No 147lber has hit him on the sweet spots yet. Sure, Cotto was getting some good shots in, but, if you look at those situations, none of 'em were clearly on the side jaw or temple.

He's been getting tagged behind the ears, and mostly around the eye, cheekbone area.
