Who in the right mind seriously believed Mayweather was going to kayo Marquez? I had to rip the Dinamita Cartel a new one because they weren't even giving their guy credit. I knew Marquez wasn't going to get kayo'd and everyone knew this was a tune up... Floyd wanted rounds.
      Everyone?

****, why nobody give me a memo on that?

honestly with Gatti I think it was personal because of all the love, deservedly so, Gatti got from HBO with Floyd still not being an attraction. Mayweather made it a point to punish their star.

But at least those fights were exciting even if no one got stopped. The point here is if it was worth it on how much you spent for an anticipated ppv!

Why do you always play dumb? Or you really are one?

Its Floyd. You already know how he is. He selling a fight. You arent a casual fan you should know better. Hes promising beat downs for the casual fans not guys like us. Shane just promised to knock Floyd out. Do you think its going to happen? Hell no. Its Shane hyping up the fight.

Floyd isnt the only fighter in history to say stuff then do otherwise. Ali is great example he was wrong in a lot of his poems..lol.

He dominates people with his boxing skill. Baldi and JMM combined won ZERO rounds. Thats skill. He doesnt have to fight like a wild man to dominate people. Thats what I appreciate about Floyd. I dont want every boxer to fight the same. I want to see knock outs Ill watch Valero. When I want a pure, perfect display of the sweet science you watch Floyd. If you are watching him to jump out your seat you got the wrong guy.
I agree.... When I watch Floyd fight I know what I am buying and I know what I am getting.

And I can appreciate a perfected art like Floyds boxing skill.

Especially this fight, where the opponent is a LIVE underdog.

Than why do so many Floyd fans take offense when people like myself clearly appreciate his skill but still find him boring? I appreciate the skill and talent it took to paint the Mona Lisa, that doesn't mean I would have enjoyed watching Da Vinci paint it.

shouldn't we be celebrating the fact the for the first time since perhaps ali we have a defensive first fighter that can ACTUALLY sell fights?
