Its just MY opinion, but if he did this more (not talking about fights where he understandably shouldn't take chances) many of his PPV's wouldn't be as disappointing. Thats just my opinion.
but again enough people tune in to his fights to say your theory about him having to open up does not hold water only with the hardcore

if people were so disappointed with Baldomir wouldn't they have not watched Judah? If they were bored by Judah would they have not watched DLH? if they were so bored with DLH would they have in turn not watch Hatton? JMM?

people get so caught in trying to dissect every nuance of Floyd and do not realize some people just want to see what the man can do in the ring period

somewhat dissapointed in all but hatton fight. i think mosely will be a good fight though. but if he is in full defensive mode like he is fighting godzilla i wont order another of his fights(except pac).

I only posted this thread because I am curious how many others feel like myself, YET Floyd is still the biggest PPV star in boxing. Floyds making money.....cool. But I wonder why so many boxing fans keep going back to buy his PPV's if they've been disappointed like myself.

Its Floyd. You already know how he is. He selling a fight. You arent a casual fan you should know better. Hes promising beat downs for the casual fans not guys like us. Shane just promised to knock Floyd out. Do you think its going to happen? Hell no. Its Shane hyping up the fight.

Floyd isnt the only fighter in history to say stuff then do otherwise. Ali is great example he was wrong in a lot of his poems..lol.

He dominates people with his boxing skill. Baldi and JMM combined won ZERO rounds. Thats skill. He doesnt have to fight like a wild man to dominate people. Thats what I appreciate about Floyd. I dont want every boxer to fight the same. I want to see knock outs Ill watch Valero. When I want a pure, perfect display of the sweet science you watch Floyd. If you are watching him to jump out your seat you got the wrong guy.

That is exactly what Im curious about. I actually feel Floyd sells the majority of his fights to the casual fans who buy into the hype and what he says he's going to do. Why do the hardcore fans keep going back if they keep getting disappointed, that is the question?

What hardcore fan said they were disappointed? Hardcore fans of boxing know Floyds style in and out. Hardcore fans arent disappointed at all. Only the ones who buy into pre-fight hype. Everyone knows what it is. Hes a pure boxer.

Maybe they're not disappointed? Boxing's "hardcore" fanbase is not limited to boxingscene or even the internet.

Come on my man, all you have to do is look at the poll to answer that question. Most of those people are here posting everyday like hardcore fans do.
