Regardless of what Martinez does on Saturday, I highly doubt he would get more money against Paul in a rematch...

Spot on about that. Martinez could make Williams fight in Argentina or Spain. Burner is blind with his loyalty toward Paul Williams sometimes that he fails to see how the kid is being mismanaged.

Im guessing its not much. Maybe a little under 1 Million.

Him fighting on the Floyd-Mosley replay and fighting a guy like Cintron who he can look against will work wonders for him.

Doubt it...Paul's camp will say no and Sergio will be fighting no names...while Paul has other options...

Sergio could just fight someone else who will travel then, see this is the problem with Paul and why he isn't fighting for a MW title now and why he can't get bigger fights.

He won't make compromises, I wouldn't blame Sergio if he wanted a rematch for his MW titles presuming he wins Saturday closer to home outside the U.S.

There is not money. Martinez vs. Williams wont have any purse issues that fight isnt a PPV worthy scrap anyway. HBO will see to it Paul gets his cake.
I got a serious question for you, Burner.

How do you think Goosen has done promoting Williams' career? I ask this because Williams has never really developed a fan base. The man has fought mostly out in the West, despite being from the South. Everyone knows that his fight with Winky drew poorly. Don't you think that fight would've done better if both men had fought in say, Florida, closer to both of their hometowns? Do you think if he fought more down there, he'd be a bigger attraction?

What are you talking about? Martinez cant make anybody go anywhere. Belts or not. Hes not a draw, star or big name.

How is Paul mis managed? People dont want to fight him. His career is fine. Hes fighting the Number 3 JMW next on the Floyd-Mosley replay.

LOL yeah Sergio could take the belt and run to Argentina or whatever, but he's going to make zero money. I mean, he'll make enough to live like a king in Argentina, but good luck making real money. Boxing is about opponents and fan appeal, not belts. Plus HBO ain't going to Argentina.

If Martinez beats Pavlik and is the lineal champion at MW, him vs. PWill will probably be 50-50.

Pauls still not a huge name. And Martinez is slowly but surely making himself an HBO fighter/attraction.

Before he does anything he will be rematching Pavlik. You can believe that.

He will be fighting in the US.
