MAB and Oscar himself were the first big name fighters to be promoted by GBP.

Oscar's name, popularity, and determination combined with Schaefer's business savvy built that company from the ground up.

Hopkins has little to no impact on the current state of the company, unless you count Demetrius and Rock Allen.

        Note to Hopkins:

The only reason you and Shane were on such a long layoff is because both of you limited your motha****in options to a select few # of fighters. It takes 2 to tango and GBP can't force anyone to face you or anyone else.

Last year you spent your time low balling Adamek, even though he consistently draws better attendance #s than you. Adamek is consistently drawing more than 6K against nobodies while you haven't drawn 6K in 2 fights, 1 in Philly.

You wanted to fight the winner of Dawson-Johnson II, suddenly you don't want that anymore. You were negotiating to fight Danny Green and probably low balled him. HBO gave you the option to fight Bute, no one knows what happened there. Calzaghe retired, he doesn't want to fight you again.

You're an ATG, but that doesn't mean you can command the type of purse you want. Your style is an acquired taste and few like what you're serving. Lower your purse demands, widen your selection pool, or retire.

I remember he was supposed to be in charge of Golden Boy Latin America or something like that, but after losing Marquez match, they threw him to curb and he left GBP for Don King. Funny since Marquez lost to Mayweather, same thing happened with Nacho pissed saying they were using Juan as stepping stone for their brand new signee Amir Con.

The scorecards were too wide, which would add to MAB's su****ion. Barrera got the big Pacquiao fight that JMM wanted and Marco lost by a wide margin, so he can't really talk much.

The 140 pound division is loaded, if Nacho and JMM thought he was going to get a soft touch, he's buggin'. There's a reason no other Mexican has gotten a title in a 4th division. It's not easy.

Boxing grave at 45? Is it really that bad to encourage Bhop to retire at 45? I would also go public if i feel its needed about Hopkins retiring.

I agree and Mosley could have fought Andre Berto,Paul Williams,Kermit Cintron and many others last year but Hopkins wont to act like there`s some sort of conspiracy against Him and Mosley.

The reason they both hav`nt fought in over a year cause they only wanted big money fights and could`nt get it.So its their fault they did`nt fight in over a year.
