Hopkins is such a racist piece of garbage. Why does he need 2 say "The Great White Hope" Kelly Pavlik??? As an African-American, he gets away with a lot of ignorant & racist comments. Remember how he said "I would never lose 2 a white person" b4 he fought Calzaghe??? If it would have been the other way around, it would have been looked at as such a ignorant & horrible quote. In this case its a just a man speaking his mind. That's not right. He won't lose 2 a white person but he doesn't mind working for 1. Even back in 2001, he disrespected Trinidad by snatching & throwing the flag on the floor. He's lucky he had all that security rushing him 2 the get away car because he wouldn't have made it out of that press confrence alive. Racist bastard. He needs 2 retire any mother ****ing way after seeing all that dumb **** he did lastweek against Roy.

i think bhop shouldve retired after the tarver fight, but not because he was done or washed up , but because his legacy is rock solid in boxing as one of the greatest of all time, not just this era. but he continued and shocked everyone destroying pavlik, and he avenged his roy jones defeat, which he really wanted badly.

to me, richard schaffer could care less about bhop's health, he made those comments because of the low number of fans that showed up, and the weak interest level of the event, he was basically saying "bernard didnt make us enough money, he should retire" thats what hes tryna say, but hes tryna sound sentimental to bhop's health, hes being a snake about it and bhop has every right to be upset.

i think bhop should retire, but like i said, only because hes already an all time great. but if he chooses to continue on, i would like him to fight chad dawson, and upset yet another young lion in the game, but even if he beats dawson, the haters will keep attacking him.

hopkins is easily the number 2 p4p fighter in the world behind manny. they put floyd at number 2 because of his popularity.

yall stop hating on bhop and appreciate him instead, he is one in a million, boxers like him dont come everyday. those who call him boring show just how little they know about boxing.

B-Hop is wright. I know he looked bad against totally shot Jones and that fight was extremely boring, but it's Hopkins life, not Shaffer's or ODLH's ones, and he is the only person to decide when to retire from boxing.

Damn I remember when he said he was gonna retire after the Taylor or Tarver fight don't remember which one... even if he retires I expect him to come back especially when his record in his last fights hasn't been so bad...

The only good thing about BHOP not being retired is that at least his not doing the Brett Farve Roger Clemens S#!T

Bernard's best wins were Tito and Kelly. What do these two have in common? They were both slow one-dimensional punchers tailor-made for Hopkins' style. Not only that, they both moved up TWO WEIGHT classes to fight him. Bernard Hopkins is a CON-ARTIST.

Trinidad slow? I guess his other wins don't count...

I personally think he took it easy on Jones, He tried to carry Roy we all know really he could have hurt the man and there would have been no glory in that.

i always thought it was weird how hopkins ktfo de la hoya and mosley beat oscar twice on the scorecards, yet yall work for oscar....

why dont u and mosley start a company and beat de la hoya at his own game like yall did before in the right?

p.s. i thought hopkins wanted to win the heavyweight title then retire, this mean he has at least 2 more fights in him, once are cruiserweight and one at heavyweight
