Anyone else hate Hopkins?

I have seen so many fights where he has rolled around and tried to get points taken off fighters by massively over exaggerating any little tap,yet do low blows and butts himself.Then there is all the ranting at commentators(steve Bunce was very intimidated) and his bad mouthing of people.He was chased out of a place in Puerto Rico for trashing thier flag,he also said "No white boy is gonna beat me" he is always moaning and never happy,and i ****ING HATE HIM

I agree with you all good points, I just watched the Hopkins Holmes fight, the other day it was completely disgraceful as well

I don't think I've ever watched a Hopkins fight from start to finish. The guy just bores me to death, he's so unwatchable really. I don't know how people can get excited watching him..

If hopkins didn't grapple, manhandled, headbutt and sity punch people he would not be anywere near the 'legend' people think he is.

Best fight I ever saw him in was Tarver, that is the ONE fight I'll say he was fantastic in.

I won't give him credit for decking Trinidad / DLH. ****, I could go down the street and bully a guy smaller than me.

I have a love/hate relationship with the way Bhop boxes. When he's actually throwing and countering he looks really good, but when he's just bum rushing head first and rabbit punching & holding and hitting I get kind of bored. And lately this whole, taking 5 minutes every chance he gets, thing is getting really old, (like hopkins).

its one of three things, he's either acting to get a breather, which means he can't keep up anymore and he should retire, or these shots are seriously hurting him, which means he cant take the punishment anymore and needs to retire, or his trying to get a DQ or get some points taken away from the other fighter, which means he thinks he can't win by boxing, and he should retire.

Most of fights are hugging, headbutting/dirty, boring sleeping aids. I don't hate him personally, I just don't care to see his fights.

What he did to Pavlik was masterful though. I wish more of his fights looked like that.

I respect what he has done for the sport and he is a certified top 75 ATG. I don't like his attitude and how he is so close minded. I am fortunate to go to many events live with floor seats. 1 time Bhop sat 2 rows ahead of me. Before any of the fights started I walked up there and said Hi BHop its a honor to meet a legend do you mind signing my boxing gloves. He didnt even look at me. The guy next to him said Mr. Hopkins isn't talking to the public now. Thank god Chris Byrd was sitting next to him with his wife and was more than happy to sign my gloves and save me from a dis moment. That is why I want Bhop to get KTFO in every fight. I still give him mad props for his boxing skills. But he is still a ASSHOL3

Hopkins vs Holmes disgraceful? WTF are you talking about. Hopkins put a serious beating on Holmes and had him ready to go numerous times.

No way is he that high, I wouldnt even place him in the top 100. He has never beaten a atg or a hofer fighting in their prime weight class. His best wins are Tarver and Tito, his ATG 110 at best
