Marion Jones did cheat OFF season when at the time they only tested athletes in competition (much like the outdated boxing tests). The current Olympic style testing tests you both off and on season. Don't try to confuse people, it's been this way since 2008. Cycling really led the way btw.

so is floyd being tested in teh offseason? If not, then whats the point, as you say.

If Floyd doesnt give blood randomly until he retires, then his beliefs in "random" testing is bull****. He trains throughout the year, by his own admission if he only gives blood randomly during the start of his training camp for a fight, then he'd be "cheating" himself, and the testing that he's so passionate about.

So far, floyd had to start random blood testing on a SCHEDULED date after he agreed with mosley. Why didnt he randomly give blood before then?

wow, this is becoming a pac-pbf issue again.

as i see it, if you hate pac the fighter who demand ost is also an anti-drug crusader. but if u hate mayweather the boxer who demanded ost is scared of his opponent.

my take is ost is good for boxing. when many boxers follow this step, to include ost in their contracts, probably the commission would review their drug procedure and make it as standard procedure.

but as i ponder on povetkins demand and if klits doesnt agree, i cant see other reason how povetki let this this opportunity pass to prove himself that he is the man, aside from delaying the fight or maybe ducking klits.

actually us Pac fans could give two ****s. Cong**** to Povetkin and Floyd and Shane for them choosing to take part in that. If they feel the need to do so....more power to them, and I can hate of em for that.

But seriously, this **** is played out. The fight isn't happening and you guys need to learn to let it go.

It wasn't a known issue then. Why didn't the USA combat terrorism like they do now before the year 2001? Bingo.

Fact is, Pacquiao moving in weight without losing power, stamina, speed is VERY su****ious on itself. It's unprecedented. We aren't talking about a Paul Williams here who is a very large frame, we are talking about a small fighter fighting bigger men in their weight classes and KOing them like they were amateurs. If i was in Floyd's shoes with so much to lose, I'd ask for random blood tests anyway. Even if Pacquiao is clean and he's a freak of nature, he must accept the tests come with the reputation, it's a minor inconvenient. Like being chased around by paparazzi is an inconvenient for a regular celebrity. To DENY the random tests only increases su****ion and make people now want to be sure why he did it. Neither of the excuses for NOT TAKING the test should be bought by grownups.

You must have little knowledge on the histroy of boxing. What Pac is doing has been done many times before.....just not in recent times.

“Is it su****ious the way (Pacquiao) has gained so much lean muscle mass while retaining and even seemingly improving his power and speed? Yes,” Conte says. “It is highly su****ious. But it’s difficult to make any type of allegations against him because he’s never tested positive for illegal drugs. The problem is that he has been subjected, as is the case with all boxers, to the standard urine testing that, in my opinion, is worthless.
