Cotto's the hot item and Vargas hasn't been around the scene for a while.

Both guys showed a certain degree of versatility and resilience, Cotto maybe a bit moreso than Vargas throughout his career. I think Cotto should get the nod here, but they're in the same ball park.

People dont remember Vargas in the best light because he played a great villian a la Mayweather, but he was a serious warrior. Unlike Cotto, he never quit.
