Muhammad Ali would toy with Wladimir Klitschko

Question? Name a great heavyweight Wladimir has beaten. He has take advantage of a easy era and division and that's the bottom line. Watching his last fight i wasn't to impressed. I was hearing he could beat Prime Ali this and that but against basically a average heavyweight he looked mediocre to me and his punches look predictable.

Nothing I can say to disagree, Wladimir has the disadvantage of having no elite opponents to face. Ali in addition to his greatness came along in an era of great heavyweights (Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, Joe Frazier, George Foreman etc). However if Wladimir does continue to just beat everyone out there for the next 3-5 years then people will have to put him in serious discussions as being on of the best Heavyweight's of all time.

Um, I wouldn't go so far as say he'd toy with him. Think about what you're saying. Wlad isn't a guy anymore who's gonna punch himself out, and he has the best jab since Larry Holmes did, and it's harder than Holmes.

To say a 6'6 skilled big man is going to get "toyed" with, when the guy walks all over everyone he fights?? Think about that.

I'm not saying Wlad wins, but it's a competative fight.

        Dude...Ali lost to Ken Norton.

I don't know about toy with him, but Ali would dance his way to the late rounds either way and end up putting it on Wlad late.

Exactly. Ali didn't toy with a lot of good fighters. Maybe Liston and Terrell.

Ali is a matchup that actually favors Wlad until you factor in Ali's will and stamina versus Wlad's average stamina. Ali can win on attrition alone.

And Ali lost to others not as good as Norton......

What I really intended to say was that the very words that you've used are almost exactly what I intended to write. I too, thought it unlikely that a 6'3" guy would toy with a 6"6' fighter with a powerful and accurate left jab.
