Cotto and Paul might've weighed the same on fight night.
So if Cotto beat Pac , Cotto gets no credit? I didnt know boxing worked like that. Especially when Willliams already lost at WW.Comment

So if your're bigger then a fighter you get no credit even though weigh in AT that weight class?

Yes, if you are a naturally bigger man you get no credit for beating smaller guys even in their weight class because its not like he is forced to go there and the other fighters are still smaller.....why is he ducking guys his own size?Comment

That looks really bad, great win for the Q man.

So Tommy Hearns gets no credit? Even though he made 147...lol.
Again Boxing has WEIGHT classes. Not height and reach classes.

I don't know if Paul wanted THAT fight bad or really a fight with any top Welter at the time, he called out a lot of fighters including Mosley, Margarito, Floyd, etc. Cotto during that time was on his way to big things. A win over Margarito would've put him in the driver's seat to fight De La Hoya in December. Williams went on to fight Quintana twice and has been fighting at 154-160 back and forth since then. I think if he would've been a little more patient, they'd have no choice but to fight him now. But he's still in a good position and a fight with Pav or Martinez rematch are almost definites this year.Comment
