A lot of people didn't want to fight him, and neither did fans want to see him that bad basing it off the attendance for his biggest fight to date against Winky Wright. They had to move people down to the front rows so it didn't look as if there was nobody there. When they panned away that's when you REALLY saw it.

Williams has the worst of both worlds, a risky fighter who brings no money. But if the answer you're looking for is "Williams would beat Cotto", then yea you could be right.
