You could say it one million times, one million different ways and it wouldn't register w/ these folk.

BS.. Cotto wanted to fight mayweather and Mayweather was quoted as saying: "Cotto is tooo green."

        Stop lying.

Face the fact that Mayweather is the corniest fighter of all time " I want him to call me out... I want him to show me he cares about me.. I need attention.. "

Since when do men talk like women? "Call me Cotto.. I like you.." ~Floyd Slappy Mayweather.

Even better: Floyd's new name .. BEYONCE " Say my name say my name.. you actin kinda shady aint callin me baby.."

I don't know how anyone can say he ducked anyone. His resume speaks for himself and yeah he got a couple of freebies and easy opponents but he also had some tough guys. It would be impossible to fight everyone at 147.

Cotto is a pure warrior who fought everyone at WW.

Anyone who questions him or his resume is a douchebag.

Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey deserve credit for taking on each other in one of the best WW's era in a while.

And let's get this straight paul is still unknown to this day to casual fans and was a nobody when cotto was still kicking ass. So shut it.
He fought Michael Jennings, Oktay Urkal and Alfonzo Gomez at 147. They are all stiffs!!! I am not saying that he did not deserve a few easy fights, but if the clowns and dipsticks on this site are going to criticize Mayweather for not fighting Cotto and Margarito at 147, then you have got to hold Cotto to the same standards.

In addition to fighting these no-names at 147, he fought Muhammed Abdullev and Gianluca Branco at 140 at a time when Floyd Mayweather was practically begging for a fight with Cotto at 140.

Timothy Bradley is being criticized for not fighting Devon Alexander for all the marbles. Bernard Hopkins is being criticized for not fighting Dawson for all the marbles. Juan Ma Lopez got criticized for not fighting Caballero for all the marbles. Is Cotto immune from the standards that are held for these other guys? At one time or another Williams and Cotto were ranked #1 and #2, Williams called Cotto out and Cotto went in another direction. End of fucking story.
