Cmon McKay your better than this, with all of the attention you have garnered in the past week you can't go around posting like a dip****...gues what McKay this post sucks!
You are basing Tyson being a unbeatable (except for Evander) badass on his perfromance against Frank Bruno? What the **** is that about....Bruno is a well known big fight chocker who has never taken a punch even remotely well(Bruno was always taylor made for Iron Mike).
HAve you seen the Ibeabuchi vs. Tua fight? I dont care who either of those guys were in with that night the point is that there is no way that they would be "murdered" by anyone.
Even in 96 Tyson was not really prepared to go 12 full tough rounds...he may have been prepared for 10-12 rounds of getting beaten up like the Holy 1 fight but he was not going to fight 12 winning rounds...against these two animals he would have had to do this no doubt.
I love Mike just as much as the next diehard but too say that either David Tua or Ike Ibeabuchi would be murdered by Tyson is just flat out not knowing your boxing...I doubt you were even into boxing enough to have even seen that fight....at least that is my opinion based upon your comments.
Hey McKay...watch Tua vs. Ibeabuchi-you won't find a finer HW fight.Comment

that has to be the biggest load of nonsence i have ever heard, if you had of said prime mike tyson, then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad, but tua and ibeabuchi are the type of fighters that would have given tyson nightmares.Originally posted by McKayIf this is fight is in 1996 Tyson would have murdered either Tua or Ibeabuchi. Frank Bruno lost his two fights with tyson in the dressing room before the fight, tua and ibeabuchi were fearless fighters with unbreakable detemination, great chins, great power, tyson dosn't win many fights on points, and these two guys would not have been knocked out, if these fights happen between 1996-1997 tyson loses.Comment

Bruno was doing good against Tyson the in the first fight. He landing alot of shots. He tying Tyson up on the inside and not really backing off. He really did not seem very imtimated of Tyson to me in anyway. He even staggered Tyson at one point in the first fight, and he finished the first fight on his feet just having the fight stopped from Bruno's corner throwing in the towel, he caught with 2 vicious uppercuts but was still standing.Originally posted by paul750that has to be the biggest load of nonsence i have ever heard, if you had of said prime mike tyson, then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad, but tua and ibeabuchi are the type of fighters that would have given tyson nightmares.

In the second fight Tyson obliterated him alot faster than he did the first time when Bruno was WBC Champion in 1996.Last edited by The Troll; 06-02-2005, 02:20 PM.Comment

Ibeabuchi would have been Tysons worst nightmare.
A skilled HW, who has an excellent chin, good power, throws punches in combination behind a very good jab, and isn't afraid of him. We know Ike is also patient and accurate evidenced by the Byrd fight.
Ike really would have laid a beating on Mike...
What you guys aren't understanding is that people who were skilled and weren't afraid of Tyson beat him...this is Mr. President to a T.Comment

Tyson has beat more accomplished heavyweights than Ike Ibeabuchi like for instance Frank Bruno twice. Henry Tillman Alex Stewart Michael Spinks Larry Holmes Marvis Frazier. And like I said Bruno hits harder than Ibeabuchi. All his wins are by KO except 2 and his chin is not that bad. He took some brutal uppercuts from Tyson in the first fight and was still standing up but his corner threw in the towel. Only persons Bruno ever lost to was Tyson twice, Lennox Lewis and then somebody else at the end of his career.Originally posted by oldgringoIbeabuchi would have been Tysons worst nightmare.

Really though...tell me how I'm wrong here. Mike generally loses to skilled boxers who have good jabs and who aren't afraid of him. Am I wrong here?Comment

you can't compare frank bruno to ibeabuchi and tua, bruno had a weak chin, ibeabuchi and tua had iron chins, frank bruno also had stamina problems, both these weakneses were reflected in all his 5 loses coming by way of knockout.Originally posted by McKayBruno was doing good against Tyson the in the first fight. i like big frank i think he is a good boxing character, and he had some skills such as a good jab, but to compare him to tua and ibeabuchi is just ridiculous.Comment

Larry Holmes was a skilled with one heck of a jab and was not afraid of him. Frank Bruno had a good jab too. You are thinking of Tyson vs Lennox Lewis saying that cant deal with jabs. Nobody ever wanted to throw jabs against him because he would jump through those jabs and land a gigantic left hook and then get inside and land an upercut.Originally posted by oldgringoReally though...tell me how I'm wrong here. Tyson vs Lennox Lewis= Tyson weighs in at 2nd highest weight ever at 234 pounds. He was only above 230 pounds 3 times. Against Brian Nielson 239 Lennox Lewis 234 and Danny Williams 233.Comment

Bruno did not have weak chin. I have seen almost every Tyson fight and nobody I have never seen take Tyson's uppercuts the way Bruno did. Bruno was not even completely out of it. He corner threw in the towel prematurely. Just he was getting bombarded and would have been out of it in short period of time. Tyson had him in a bad spot and would have landed more bombs.Originally posted by paul750you can't compare frank bruno to ibeabuchi and tua, bruno had a weak chin, ibeabuchi and tua had iron chins, frank bruno also had stamina problems, both these weakneses were reflected in all his 5 loses coming by way of knockout.
